Recurring Charges
I, too, have recurring charges for diet pills and was unable to contact the company to unsubscribe. My solution was to report my credit card as "stolen" and my card company assured me that the diet pill distributor will no longer be able to charge anything to my account. Hope this helps a few people!

Refusal to refund upon cancellation
I purchased a 30 day free trial of the Acai Berry Detox and the Body cleanse over the internet. Upon receiving the items. I discovered that while I had indeed been shipped a 30 day supply, I only had a 15 day trial period in which to cancel before my account was charged for the full $87.13. To make matters even worse, I also discovered that this fradualent company starts that 15 day trial period on the day the order is placed. You DO NOT even get 15 days to try the product, you only have 15 days from when you ordered it and it does not matter to them how long it takes for you to receive it. I canceled my order on the 15th day and discovered later that same day that I had already been billed the full amount for the next shipment. I called the company the next day as it was late and there was not a live person to speak with when I discovered the problem. The man I spoke with was most unhelpful and just kept telling me that there was no way for them to reverse the charge to my credit card. I was also told that the trial period was only a 14 day trial period, not a 15 day trial period and since I did not cancel on the 13th day, then I was simply going to have to live with the second $87.13 charge.

Scam / Ripoff!
I ordered this product as a "TRIAL" offer and was only to pay shipping charges. It took several weeks to receive the small trial package, but only to find that in the meantime, my debit card had been charged $87.13 AND $.70 cents for some kind of "over the border fee" and a full month's worth! I have called the number: 866.949.0838 THREE times -- Feb. 2, 2009 (Ella - I.D. #1028235), Bert (I.D. # 903WDD), and Lulu (I.D. #12048 on Feb. 19.) ALL three of them advised me that my order had been cancelled (#286875) and has been forwarded to whatever dept. for crediting. On Feb. 19, after emailing [email protected], I received an email from "Mandy Williams" but signed by "Bernadette" within the email. She also confirmed that they received my refund request, will be subject for verification, and that I will receive a confirmation once processed. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE FROM ANYONE!

In my emails to a [email protected], [email protected] and fwmcancellations.com, I've told them I will contact the Florida Attorney General's Office, the Better Business Bureau, and the FBI Online Consumer Protection Dept., and anyone else I need to, including my attorney.

FREE TRIAL SCAM
Well I just happened to checking my MYSPACE page when I saw the add for ACAI BERRY... offered a free trial & all I had to pay was $4 for shipping. I read everything just fine & understood what I was requesting, so i sent off for it. After a few days went by I started to worry if I ever going to get product because you only have w/i 14 days from ship date to cancel...So I called to try & track down the order & cancel if possible...they couldn't find me using my name, address, email, or debit cc#...so they suggest that I email the advance wellness research & get further assistance. I got a response right away & was advised that the product had already been shipped, gave me my order# & stated to call toll free number given in my email as soon as I got package. Well it took 12days to get it...12 days to get something that came from florida & I live right by border of FL & GA. That's just a little rediculous. So the day I got the package, I told them I wanted to return product, I don't want to deal with this & do not wish to have my card charged. They told me that I had to try product for 14 days & then call back again to cancel...but they would extend the 14 days from day I called them. So I said ok fine, will do. But don't you know, next day possibly 2, I go online to check my bank account & I see a pending charge for ACAI XL for $87...I immediately called & said something & they said they would take care of it...they don't see any charges on my card but will forward the request...also said I would no longer see charge on my account. The following day or maybe 2 i check the account again & i see that the charge is now gone...I was like great. I guess i jumped the gun...because about 2days later I see the charge went through. This was just last month when this all happened. I called the company back & they tell me they don't show any charges going through & I have already cancelled my order...but advised me to call # associated with charge. I called that number...it's the owner of ACAI BERRY-FMW LABS...they say they will cancel my order & no charges will be applied to my card. I have been battling back & forth with the two companies to get my money back & being told i can't have the money back. I'm going to try a little longer to get my money back on my own before i start seeking legal advice. I think this is crazy that so many people are having trouble with this company. Something should be done about this. Has anyone been able to get their money back? Is there anyone out there who could help me?

charges to my credit card
I ASKED FOR FREE SAMPLE WHICH WITH SHIPPING & HANDLING WAS NOT FREE. IT WAS ?? 3-4 DOLLARS. WELL, WHEN MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT CAME, I WAS CHARGED $87.97 FOR ONE BOTTLE AND $87.97 FOR ANOTHER BOTTLE. I HAD NOT AUTHORIZED ANY OTHER SHIPMENTS AND WHEN IT CAME TO MY ADDRESS, I DID NOT OPEN IT. I JUST WROTE "RETURN TO SENDER" ON THE OUTSIDE AND PLACED IT BACK IN THE MAIL.
I WANT EVERYTHING STOPPED. NO MORE !!!

Unapproved Charges
This is still happening! It just happened to me, too. I hope that these complaints will lead to the closure of this company. I sure learned my lesson.

Fraud
During a search for Amazon.com, this company had created a site that looked like Amazon.com and took me to a site that stated that I had won a $5000.00 shopping spree on Amazon.com, a definite statement, and all I had to do was accept a trial offer of the Detox capsules for only $3.95 shipping. They deny that the Amazon.com shopping spree was ever an offer and they also proceeded to bill me the full price of the product at $80.00+ for a product that is worth around $5.00.

Charged my account $87.13 for nothing
I ordered a supposed free bottlel of Acai Berry Detox for $5.95 which they charged my account for immediately. One week later, they charged me an additional $87.13 for nothing. I have neither had the chance to cancel this product nor have I received anything more than the one original bottle of this product. This is a SCAM. I now must put a stop payment on my account to ensure that they do not extract anymore money from me.

acai berry detox
I saw their add on the internet and purchased a free trial bottle of the acai berry detox. I only was required to pay shipping and handling of 3 dollars and some odd cents. I received a call shortly after ordering the product, asking if I wanted to buy anything else. At that time I told them I had not received the free bottle and had already paid the 3 dollars for the shipping and handling. I told them that I was not interested in any other products or purchasing any more of the acai berry detox. I only wanted the free bottle that I paid for. I also received one more phone call of the same topic, which I replyed the same, I did not want anything else. I just received my credit card bill of $174.26. I called the company and asked what was going on. I asked repeatedly to speak with someone that could speak better English because I could not understand her. I did not get anywhere. They billed me 87.13 for each bottle (they sent me 2). I did not authorize this nor did I want this. I told her on the phone this, but it did not matter.
