On line robbery
I ordered the Acai berry after hearing about it and fell into the free trial website by accident and was hooked like everyone else. After I ordered it, I found the complaints against the company and similar companies and decided I was going to return the product once I received it. They charged my card on Dec. 28, shipped the product Jan. 5 and I received it Jan. 9. I have been trying to reach them at the 24 hr support line #866-949-0138 and will hold with music for 1/2 an hour until a machine comes on to leave a message. I have never received a return call or spoke to a person. If you don't receive a return authorization #, they will continue to bill you. I am going to the bank tomorrow to cancel the credit card I used to authorize the $3.95 shipping fee (which by the way was ony $1.69 according to the package). They won't be able to charge me anything now. I guess I'm out the $3.95, but they are out more. I'm keeping the product and stopping their only way of charging me. THIS IS A SCAM. ACAI BERRY DETOX is robbing innocent, hard working people. It needs to stop! I hope this helps. I have learned never to jump the gun and research, research, research FIRST!

invalid phone number to cancel
The number to cancel the trial offer is invalid and I have days to do so until my account will be charged. Have read the same complaints on this site for others that have been duped; can anyone offer a suggestion that worked for them.

Unauthorized Charges
I ordered a free sample of Acai Berry Detox on line. They said there was only a ahippingand handling charge which was paid. They then proceded to try to charge me for 2 more bottle of somethingI did not order. There is no information on the bottle as to how to contact the company andam concerned they will try to charge me again.

Scam/Fraud
I just called the Consumer Protection Agency in Missouri and there have been no complaints lodged in our state. I am in the middle of dealing with unathorized charges much as many of the other individuals on this website...exactly the same scenario. My question to some of you out there dealing with this is, was the website you went through to get your "free trial" in any way associated with Rachel Ray or Oprah Winfrey? I am curious because their names are plastered all over the internet in association with this product...
I have not received my refund yet, I have "cancelled" bank account leaving only $1 there so if I do get a refund they will be able to deposit it (remember if you cancel your account completely FWM will have no where to send the refund). My bank knows not to accept any attempt to charge the account as well. I did manage in getting an email from one the many individuals I have spoken to saying that the charges were unauthorized and FWMcancellations was the "sender" of the email.
I intend to contact our Attorney General as well as the BBB in Missouri. Wish I would have done this kind of research first...Buyer beware!!!

Incorrect Charges
I tried the trial offer of the Acai Berry Detox, my debit card was charged and I received shipment of the product. However, they automatically charged me an additional $87.13 on 1/5/08 for product that I did not order. When I checked my bank statement again, another charge for $2.61 was charged. I've called over and over again and speak to individuals who barely speak English and they tell me to call my bank, that the account was cancelled. These people need to be put out of business. The other piece is that I'm sure Oprah and Rachel Ray would be "horified" to have their names associated with this product, which is what was advertised online.

unauthorized charges
I ordered their free trial offer and was charged $3.95, then 10 days later I was charged $87.13 for a product I never ordered or received. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. I never authorized any charge but the $3.95 for the initial "free" sample. This is a scam and something should be done about these scam artist who get your credit card number and process these unauthorized charges.

Scam Vitamins
I have the exact same complaint. I checked my bank and found that a charge of $87.13 was put on my card 12 days after I placed an order for this product (as well as Total Cleanse from SFL or some crap). I never received the trial product but called on 12/19/08 to cancel the order and any account they create d in my name. Now, on 12/30/08, I got yet another charge for $87.13 which caused an overdraft on my account (you know, other bills have to be paid!!!). So I was charged $87.13 twice within a 15-day period as well as an International Charge which no one can explain!. I called billing twice (the first time I never got any confirmation number) and am still waiting for a confirmation number from the second call. I will cancelling my account as well!!! This is rediculous! PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO GIVE YOUR MONEY AWAY. ALWAYS CHECK THE COMPLAINTS BOARD AND BBB BEFORE ACCEPTING THESE CRAZY SCHEMES (LIKE I DID!)!!!
