Unauthorized charges
Trusting/stupid me, I read the complaints after I ordered a "free" 21 day trial of Acai Berry Edge. My story is the same as everybody elses. I see a charge on my account for $29.95 that I did not authorize. It took about an hour to get through to the number that was on my charge bill. The "live" support on the web site took so long to get an answer to each question, that I disconnected. When I finally got through on the phone, much to my surprise, I got a very nice young man who gave me a "one time" credit and canceled the Fit Factory - whatever that was. I was prepared to fight, but it was not necessary. He then advised me that I needed to call another company to cancel the Acai Berry and offered to give me the contact info to that company. When I called the number on the Acai Berry bottle it took about 5 minutes to get through & again, a very nice, polite young woman answered the phone. As I asked questions, she explained everything to me. I had just received the Acai Berry, unlike some others who registered complaints. I believe it took about 2 weeks to arrive. But if I canceled the order and returned the product, or empty bottles to them I would only be charged for shipping. However, they must have the product back in less than one week from today for me to not be charged. She gave me 2 cancellation numbers, one for the auto-ship and the other to return the product. She apologized for the delay in my receiving the product, but was unable to extend my cancellation date. If as they say I will only have to keep the shipping charge I will be satisfied. Smarter and satisfied. I wasted my time.
