Scam artists
Company is a scam and will steal your money! Placed order on 11/17/08 and they got their money on 11/19/08 I have not received product as of 12/16/08. An automatic email is generated for confirmation but that is all you get. Try to cancel and their website is bogus. You are sent to a search engine. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS!!!

Unauthorized credit card withdraws
I ordered my free 15-day supply of Acai Berry Maxx pills in December and paid $4.99 for the shipping. After my first bottle arrived, I emailed the address in the package and canceled my order. I got an email cancel confirmation, and did NOT delete the email. One month later, I recieved a second package with a 2 bottle, one month supply and had $85.90 taken from my bank account. I went to the web address on the bottle (acaiberrymax.com) and it didnt exist. The website acaiberrymaxx did exist, and had the same mailing address, so I emailed them again and AGAIN, got an email confirmation of my cancellation and a case #. Again, I did NOT delete the email. One month later, another package, another $85.90 taken from my account. I did not know how to get out of this, so I asked a friend for help. We called 2 different phone numbers we found online for this company, and they rang and rang. Also, both email confirmations that I had saved were gone from my email. After a certain amount of days, they dissapear, as does the case # so Im screwed. In the meantime, I recieved another package, another $85.90 was taken from me. I finally called my bank and had a stop payment on this company so they can no longer withdraw from my account, and I went through another fraud company that helped to get back 3 of my charges, the 4th $85.90 was too long ago to file a claim. Please be ware of this product, any webstite that is selling it. I didnt realize the dangers until now, and now Im seeing people getting scammed all over the place.

Cannot get a full refund, minus shipping and handling charges
I ordered the risk free trial and received it. I did not try it but found out later through an $85.90 charge to my credit card that I had signed up to receive more shipments. I tried to call the number and could not reach anyone after 1/2 hour of being on hold. I found their website and started the process of canceling and trying to get information on how to send the product back and get a refund. After days of trying to reach someone by phone and continued e-mails I finally got through to someone to talk to. They gave me a RPA (return merchandise authorization) number and said they would credit my credit card but it would take three weeks. I said fine. I sent the two bottles back that I received plus the "risk free trial". I have a delivery confirmation that they received the products back on February 9, 2009. After waiting three plus weeks to be credited and no success I e-mailed them and called them. After reaching someone by phone I was told they were backed up and I would get a refund. After waiting another week, I finally took further steps and contacted the Better Business Bureau. I just heard from them and FX is only willing to reimburse me $59.96. There own website states:
Renewable Program Membership Refund Policy: If you are not fully satisfied with your enrollment in the Acai Berry Maxx Auto Deivery Program you have two methods of receiving a refund. 1) You may cancel your enrollment in the Renewal Program and return the most recently shipped unit of Acai Berry Maxx to us for a full refund of $79.95. Shipping & handling is non-refundable. Please call customer care at 877-778-9035 or email us at [email protected] to cancel future shipments and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
The BBB contacted me with FX's response and refund offer of $59.96. I said no, that is not satisfactory. So I recommend for all of you to contact the BBB. You would have to file with the one where your product came from.

fraud
Order free trail for $5.95 and I was shipped more pills on my credit card for $85.90. I called to cancel and I let them know I have a medical problem and I was sending the pills back . I was told my credit card will be refunded and they will send me a conformation of my cancelation to my email address on the 16th of March 2009 and I have not receive the conformation on the cancelation. I called today 27 of March 2009 and I was told that the cancelation email should be in my box today. I still have not recieve the email .

unauthorized charges being taken
I authorized a 5.95 shipping fee for a free trail product. I continue to get product sent without asking for it and cannot get company to stop sending product and charging my card for unauthorized amounts of 85.90 even though I continue to return product and requested numerous times to stop sending product.

Unauthorized Chg after cancellation
Tried a sample, worthless...cancelled the day I recd shipment. Next month they charged my credit card 85.90 for nothing, then they shipped more bottles, sent it back, cancelled online, cancelled via phone, disputed charge, which was credited back, and this month they did it again. No product but my charge card was debited another 85.90. Scam artists for sure!!! Beware.

cannot cancel order and product received that I did not order
I signed up for a "free" sample of Acai Berry Maxx and after paying fo one additional shipment, decided I was not interested. I tried to call the customer service number, use the live chat and email the company--all with no success. They seem to be conveniently "busy" when you call, and their hours of operation are not conducive for someone who works a9 to 5 job.
When I finally got through on the customer service phone line, I cancelled the order and told them I was returning products (unopened) that had been shipped without my agreement. They verbally acknowledged this but never sent a confirmation of my discontinuation. I continue to receive product and be charged on my credit card. This is a disgrace and this is a very unprofessional, immoral organization. Stay away.

Unable to cancel
After ordering a free trial order of Acai Berry Maxx & paying for
S & h with my credit card, I was unable to cancel future shipments. The phone # listed 877 778-9035 was answered automatically & kept me on hold for over 45 min. No live person ever did answer. The e-mail address listed is not valid either. All you ever get is a copy of 'their' terms & conditions. I finally sent a certified letter to the address in Arlington, Tx to cancel, and as of yet have not received a response.

Unauthorized charges
I wanted to try this product out, you paid $5.95 for shipping only. You had to cancel or you would be mailed the product again in a month for $85. a bottle. I canceled. I was mailed a bottle regardless. I called and canceled via phone and also emailed again. I have since had 2 more deductions from my bank account thru different company names for the product and had 2 more deliveries. I have canceled via phone and email one more time to no avail.
Today is the first day I called the Bank and done research on line to find out that the company is indeed a scam. I canceled my credit card today as I read someone else had done that. Pain waiting for a new credit card and having to change some companies that use that credit card but oh well. This is just not right. How can this company not be shut down? All these complaints doing the same thing to innocent people...terrible. The product doesn't even work to begin with. My sister was lucky enough to receive her product cancel and get no more. I'm the unlucky sister as you can guess.
