Acai Berry Maxx Reviews

fraud
Add my name to the list of people who have been scammed by this fraudulent company. They claim you can get a free month's supply of the product for shipping costs and that you can cancel any time. Instead they charge you almost $80 for the product and make it impossible to cancel. I have sent three emails to cancel, and have tried to call the company number. No one EVER answers. They continue to send the product month after month and charge your credit card. Furthermore, if you google acai maxx fraud, they have paid to have the first three links advertise their product to prevent folks from reading about their fraudulent practice.
I have alerted better business bureau and hope to explore options for prosecuting them.

Won't cancel order
I ordered a acai berry maxx with the statement that you could return product if you didn't like it after 2 wks. I did that, plus tired to call the phone number on the bottle. Several times I got a recording that mail box was full. Got a site on line where your could cancel order, did that and still was billed. Called my credit card co. they will stop payment. Today got an email that said they shipped Feb. order. If this company wasn"t shady you could reach them by phone or web-site. All I find now are major complaints from customers. NEVER ORDER THESE PRODUCTS ON LINE

Can't cancel subscription
I ordered a 2 week trial the agreement stated you could cancel before the two weeks is up and not be charged full price or recieve further shipments/charges. Needless to say this is not happening. I called the day I recieved the trial product in the mail spoke with a person and canceled my order. I was told it was all taken care or and i would not recieve any more. My bank account has been charged the last two months 89.95 I returned the product without opening it last month and have not been able to get in touch with a person again. I get a message to leave a message. I have left a massage 10 times with no return calls. I have also tried to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in Texas. All I have recieved from them is letter stating they received my complaint. This is so rediculous this company needs to be taken out NOW before it countinues ruining peoples credit. I just cant beleive they are still in business

Unauthorized charges
I ordered a free 14 day trial for 5.95 from this company. I got my free trial and the next day they took out the full amount of product another $79.95 before my 14 day trial even began. I called several times and several number with no luck. I was give a bogus email to cancel from, it came back as no such address. I cannot get them to stop. This month they took out another $85.90 and no product. I don't want the product and have tried since the day I had the product to cancel this and cannot. I have to cancel my Debit card and am told that they still may get access to my account, and I am filing a fraudulent charge with my bank. This company is bogus and uses celebrity's name to further they scam.

Fraudulent sales practice
In Nov. '08 I ordered a free trial 15 day supply plus shipping/handling $5.95. Dec. 5, '08 the shipping was taken from my checking account. Product was not shipped until Jan. 21, '09 and arrived with a 45 day supply along with a letter that stated "14 days from your original order date if you decide Acai Berry Maxx is right for you, if you are enjoying Acai Berry Maxx, simply do nothing. On the 15th day you will be billed a full month's supply (2 bottles) of Acai Berry Maxx for the low cost of $79.96".

I received the free trial plus the one month supply in the same package more then 45 days after my initial order. To add insult to injury, 2 days later, Jan. 23rd, the $79.96 plus shipping totaling $85.96 was deducted from my account. I have the letter and packaging along with my banking information to backup my claim.

I feel this is a deceitful and fraudulent practice by this company in an attempt to scam consumers. Their letter also states that since they are not responsible for the delivery of the product, or should I say"Because a variety of instances may occur at your address that are beyond our control, customers agree that any delivery confirmation (even) without a signature) provided by the selected shipping provider is deemed sufficient proof of delivery to the card holder." In my case it wasn't the delivery date but their shipping date that would have made their order breach.

They should be fined by the postal service for fraud and and charged by Internet Consumer Fraud Services.

UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES
I DID SUBSCRIBE FOR THE FREE TRIAL. I RECV'D THE 5.99 CHARGE FOR THE FIRST MONTH.

WHEN I CALLED TO CANCEL MY TRIAL IN THE ALLOWED 30 DAY TRIAL PERIOD I RECIEVED NO ANSWER. THEY GAVE A BOGUS PHONE NUMBER ON THE SITE, WHICH I WROTE DOWN WITH ALL THE INFO. THE SITE SEEMS TO BE BOGUS AS WELL. I AM UNABLE TO CANCEL.

I DID NOT SIGN UP, NOR DID I AUTHORIZE THE $89.95 CHARGE TO MY CREDIT CARD. I TRIED TO CANCEL! HOW DO I GET MY MONEY BACK?

THE PHONE NUMBER GIVEN ON THE SITE 1-888-549-2111 IS BOGUS. WHEN YOU CALL IT SIMPLY STATES THIS NUMBER HAS BEEN DISABLED?!!!

THE SITE ADDRESS [email protected] IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE AS WELL.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

Unauthorized billingw
They billed me $85.00 which I didn't authorize and it never said on their internet add they will be doing this every month until I cancel. They didn't have their number listed anywhere. I found it in my checking account under the withdrawal FXSUPPLEMENTS.COM 866-851-2281 TX. They also use another name and number as MAX ACAI BERRY 8777789035.

I called many time and finally got thru on 1/23/09 and they cancel my order and sent me a confirmation number. I also had to cancel my debit card due to any further charges. Thanks Also they acai maxx doesn't work for me. Just gave me high blood pressure 151/70. It now 110/70.

Found where to cancel
Try this number to contact them (877) 778-9035. Call very early in the morning to get in touch with them. Or try this website "www.FXSupplements.com". I call at 8:30am, it took a while for them to pick up the phone, but they did answer the phone and talked to someone and cancel my account. I send the bottles back to them and they said that when they receive it they will credit back my card. Try it to see if it works for you guys. I will leave another message when if I receive or not my refund.
