no fast way to lose weight
My complaint is to the people who bought this product. Didnt this product scream Scam to you at all? the only way to lose weight is a proper diet and excersise. I dont believe for a moment that celebreties use any of this product.go to your doctor for a checkup and have him recommend a diet plan. its actually a lot cheaper in the long run.

Taking money with no concent
As like many others I ordered the trial Acai Berry for the trial price, only to find another £15.18 went from my bank account and now I have just been billed for a further £82.95...cannot believe that this has happened, I have put a stop on my card, this should never happen as I did not give them concent to take that money from my account. I am totally dumbfounded... Emma from Wallasey, Merseyside.

account debited without permission
i did not give permission of any desription to having my bank debited $142 australian. I payed $8.95 for free trial and have gained 10 pounds in one week of using it. I want to return the product and want my money refuned. I find this to be fraud. I am disgusted, i have no written evidence of any desription in relation to this money being debited. Shona.

unauthorize charges and fraud
As other complaints I am a victim, they charged me $87.13 prior the expiration of the free trial, I also order the colon cleanser and did not receive on time, by the time I received it the trial was over and they charged me full price. Is hard to get someone to answer and the phone, they said they will credit the amount that was 3 weeks ago and nothing had happen. When I called they informed me they had shipped another bottle, I told them how that can be possible when I had cancel and did not want anything else. Something needs to be done it is obvious this is a company that accostumed to fraud and consumers are not been warned and their issues taken care of.

Fake celebrity endorsements, and CNN endorsements. Acai Berry "free trials" cost consumers hundreds.
Adds are popping up everywhere. Fake blogs touting how a "local mom" has found the secret to weightloss by combining two free trials are EVERYWHERE. These blogs are all fake! The usually plug in your town using your ISP address. They also post a weightloss success story that touts the amazing benefits of two free trial weight loss products. Armed complete with fake comments and all proclaiming it worked for everyone, consumers are duped into visiting "free trial" websites that end up costing consumers hundreds of dollars in "membership and autoship" fees. PLEASE do not order free trials! And if you do PLEASE read the terms and conitions. They are usually buried in a link at the bottom of these website. ALL of the websites that I have seen are claiming that CNN is endorsing the acai berry, and using a legitimate and famous news source to peddle the free trials with hidden terms. For all of these "free trials", the consumer usually unknowingly signs themselves into an autoship membership that costs any where from $60-$100 per month! By the time the consumer finds these outrageous charges on their statments, it is too late to get their money back for these "free trials". And PLEASE check your WHOLE statement. Chances are you will see more than one unfamiliar charge, because they sign you up for multi memberships in newsletters, websites, and ebooks. The truth is, Acai berry does NOT help you to lose weight. This is what CNN REALLY had to say about the acai berry:
""There's no evidence whatsoever to suggest that acai pills will help shed pounds, flatten tummies, cleanse colon, enhance sexual desire, or perform any of the other commonly advertised functions, " according to the organization's press release. "
"The expensive acai berry is triumph of marketing over science, that's the bottom line, " Bowden said. "It's not useless, but it's not anything that people are claiming it is."
"Virtually every berry -- blueberry, strawberry, goji, acai -- are anti-inflammatory and high in antioxidants, " Bowden said. "This particular one is exotic. It's found in Brazil. It's been marketed to have more of a magic ingredient. It's been over-hyped and marketed to death. There are claims to curing cancer, curing baldness that is all over the place."
"Consumers are asked to provide a credit card to pay shipping and handling charges, but begin almost immediately receiving $80 to $90 monthly charges. Thousands of consumers have had trouble stopping those charges once they canceled the free trial offer."
Taken from
http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/03/23/acai.berries.scam/index.html
BOTTOM LINE: Even if you DO cancel within the 14 days FROM THE DATE OF YOUR ORDER (not from date received), many consumers complain of STILL being charged, and still get monthly charges, even when they did cancel! Also, just because you cancel and do not receive any more of their product, you better check your statement. Many of these companies have duped consumers by no longer sending the product, but still charging for it every month. You will most likely have to dispute the charge with your credit card company. To do this be SURE to have evidence of you canceling (ALWAYS record phone conversations with them, and keep any e mails or cancel confirmations. You will need these to prove you canceled. The company will claim you never canceled.)
NOTE: This goes for a LOT of free trials, like tooth whitening, like dazzle white, ivory brites, gleaming white smile, celebrity sexy smile, etc) AND for wrinkle creams and pills, like resveratrol, dermapril, etc. ALWAYS read the terms. And my advice-Never sign up for a free trial that claims they need your card number for "shipping". A LOT of these companies will go ahead and put a pending charge on your card. This has caused many to go over their credit limit, and overdraft charges for banks.

WHAT THE......
I also was a victim of the Acai Berry scam. I lost $95.00 in the act of leagalized thievery. I was charged before I recieved the product for the "free trial " period. I was notify that the shipment would take 2-3 days, it took 14 days to arrive and the trial period started the day my request had been placed.Upon calling the fraudulent company, I was informed that it was my responsibility to have contacted them when my product was not recieved . I should have "read into the details" per non- English speaking Acai Berry scandalous representive . I demanded a refund and was hung up on. I attempted to return the product with no response. No product and no refund! It is amazing that the government does not get involved, I'm sure tax invasion comes into play!!

trial scam
Ordered product on July 15th. Didn't receive till July 30th! Paid the $.99 for the free trial and was charged $87.83 by Aug. 3rd. When I called they apologized for the delay in shipping but said they were not responsible. Really bad business!!! This has really put me off on ordering anything else online!!!

Undisclosed side effect
I ordered a trial sample of Acai Berry tablets, for which I paid the post and packing. The parcel arrived while I was on holiday. I had the intention of using them as soon as I got back. Unfortunately, as soon as I read the label, I realised I would not be able to take them, as I had had a stroke. Also, alas, it was over the 15 days allowed for cancellation. I had thoroughly checked out the web and did extensive research before ordering these tablets, but nowhere does it state online that you cannot take these if you have had a stroke. If it had said that, I would not have ordered them in the first place!!!
