Charge to checking acct for a free trial
We received an $88.00 charge for a $ .99 free trial, I have asked the bank to look into them (Life Berry) and they the have given me a phone # (866)719-2906 to try to resolve first. I have been on hold for 20 min with no luck. My bank said they will try to resolve for us but will not credit any monies until all means of resolving have been exhausted.
Well maybe we have an answer. I started writing this complaint when I called and after 30 mins of being on hold I actually spoke to a person. After complaining about how they are handling their free trial she directed me to their web site and the terms and conditions. (www.acaiberrydetox.com) It actually gives you the formula to calculate your free trial period (for shipping only) the free trial is not for the product. If you read it you will find that it will almost always be impossible to get your free trial shipping because they use USPS (no offense to anyone working at the post office I am only referring to the shipping time window Acai berry is using) to ship and their order fill rate is about 5 days after you order is taken, which means that your arrival date will be after the free trial has expired and they will automatically process your credit card on the 15th day.
But, if you are not satisfied with the product you can get a refund (full amount) as long as you get an RA # (return authorization #) and follow the directions completely, supposedly within 30 days.

PS Costco sells Acai berry juice (2) bottles 32 fluid ozs for $11.00. I think that is a great deal.

taking money out of my account
complete scam i have just been conned out of 2 different payments of 74.06 and 74.04 trying to find any contact details is a complete nightmare when you eventually do they wont give you a refund they hang up i have contacted my credit card company who want me to wait another month to see if i received the products i've been billed for but havent got total nightmare ifeel sick that i have been so stupid!!! please please dont sign up to these people. im a single parent on a shoe string now i have to try and come up with £148.10 that was taken without my consent "risk free trial" no such thing complete fraud

Unauthorised payment taken
There has been an unauthorised payment of £82.95 taken from my Barclaycard by these people for 1 pot of Acai Berry. I received originally one for free trial (p&p only charged but HAD to be by credit card).
It appears that neither phone numbers are genuine. the +44 203 139 9027 got me through to my local hospital who's number is 01202 665511 (Dorset UK) and the UK Toll Free number of 0808 238 9891 is not in use.

charged without my consent
Following reciept of free sample of Acai Berry from Viv3 the company then stole a further $145.51 from my credit card account without my permission. I have since stopped any further theft from my account by cancelling my card and was advised by the bank that this was the 6th complaint of the week. These people are scammers and should not be trusted.

Worst Company Ever
This is the worst company ever. They sell you a product for next to nothing, telling you to try it out free. Then fifteen days later they are billing you $87.13 for your free trial and every month if not twice a month you get billed. They also sell your information to other comapnies, who end up billing you for products you never recieve. The most fradulant company ever. Never, Never buy from them.

Billed for a product not ordered and not received
I ordered a trial offer of the Acai Berry for .99 cents for 14 days. Was billed $39.95 on 7/14/09 for a product called "Life Cleanse" which I have never heard of and NEVER ordered and NEVER received to date. I called the company's customer service dept. 3 times. The last time I spoke with a "supervisor" Nathan Reed today 7/29/09, who ASSURES me that I WILL HAVE the produce in 3 days and that their 'REFUND POLICY" mandates I receive and mail them the product with an RMA # on the bottle and package for them to process my refund. OF COURSE!!! HOW CAN I DO THIS IF I DON'T EVER RECEIVE THE PRODUCT!!!
THE COMPANY IS DECEPTIVE AND SCAMMING PEOPLE!!!

supposed trial offer
I, too was under the impresstion that the trail sample was for the entire bottle sent. Then was billed online for the whole bottle. It was not stated anywhere that it was for a 14 day trial only Very underhanded in advertising. Called to complain and sent sample back but as of today haven"t heard if my account was credited.

Misleading
I had agreed to a FREE trial. Called and canceled any future orders or so I was told I was. My credit card was then hit twice with over $139.00. And shipment was sent after I called over 5 times. I was than basically told to bad for me but that I was stuck with the product and charges. Buyer be ware!!!
