Fraudulent Charges
DO NOT ORDER ANY FREE TRAIL - Pay for shipping only product, until you have searched out all complaints boards.
Well, here's another Free Trial scam and it joins a bunch of others.
I earlier posted a complaint for ColonAid700 Colon Aid 700 after they illigally hit my charge card for $88.97 (see my complete posting of the details involved in this scam).
Yesterday, I was horified to see that something else was hitting my credit card. I suspected it was the Acai Berry Supreme AcaiBerry Supreme, because there was a currency exchange fee hitting also.
This product is sent from outside the US, so not only do you get charged for the product, you also have to pay the currency conversion fee. And, these Free Trail sites are all the same in their scam tactics and I suspect many of them are related to each other.
A new twiste and added educational item is that the Acai Berry scamers will hit your account for just the shipping in order to make sure you have not closed your account - after their first illegal charges came through. If, all goes smoothly, then they hit it with the full amount which is usually around $88.62!
Do not bother trying to call these companys. No one answers and my calls kept getting dropped. And, don't waste you time emailing them either. It is a scam. Just call you financial institution and file a dispute to get your money back. They be smarter next time!

return policy
I ordered this product & tried to cancel my order but could not find a working phone number. When I did manage to find one off the website I had used they told me I was too late & they charged & shipped me another bottle. I tried to get information on there return policy & they told me they did not have one. Every sight I go to on this product shows a 30 return policy. I returned my product & they still have not credited my account.

double billing
I also have complied with this companies policy, and cancelled with in the 14 day trial period...I was billed for the $87.13, and then 10 days later billed again...I have called, and cancelled 4 times, and they still send me the stuff and keep billing me..My only option now is to cancel my card. Glad to hear I'm not the only one this has happened to...Now the phone # is non working!! Ya wonder!! Guess I've been scammed! Launa

CHARGED TWICE / DID NOT ORDER
ACAI BERRY HAS CHARGED ME TWICE FOR SOMETHING THAT I DID NOT ORDER.
I AM GOING TO REPORT YOU TO CONSUMER FRAUD DEPARTMENT.
PLEASE STOP ANY FURTHER ACTIONS.

never received and was charged
I ordered from acaiberry & Lifecleanse - was charged but never received a confirmation or the product. Can someone give me the website or phone number so I can call them?

unauthorized charge
i only wanted to try the free trial i was then charged a total of 174.26 two charges of 87.13 i never authorized or wanted these things the number was 866-632-2312 i tried calling would give me options but when i chose one i only received a busy signal

Being charged after telling them to take me off their mailing list
I called this company on 1/7/09 and was told that they would cancel any future orders and would refund my credit card within 4-5 days. I returned the product on 1/7/09 and had delivery confirmation from USPS that it was delivered to them on 1/9/09.
On 1/16/09 my credit card was charged $78.81 again which is $83.80 minus the shipping charges of $4.99.
When I had called the first time the person I spoke to wanted to know if the cost of the product was too high and was willing to negotiate for a lesser charge. I refused the offer and told him to just take me off their mailing list and I would be returning the product that day (1/7/09).
When I called the second time on 1/29/09 I told the person (Sirrus) I spoke to that my credit card had been charged again and I had not received any product this time. Sirrus told me to call them when I received the product and I would be given a cancellation # and my account would be refunded.
