A few days ago, I caved and ordered a free trial of the Acai Berry Power 500 online. It indicates that it is a great weight loss product. The issue is that they insist on charging you for product that has not shipped. Their scam is a follows. They will automatically charge you for the next bottle, eventhough the initial "free" trial may not have been received yet. In addition, they have a no returns no refund policy, which means, if you Finally receive the product, and you do not like it...its too bad, because your next bottle is on its way and they can not refund your $$.

Quite a good scam I must say...but in my opinion it is taking consumer for a ride. I am all for taking responsibility for trying the product and either accepting or cancelling any future orders...but how can I be expected to accept a product which never arrived? In fact the Service Rep even admitted that the trial shipment had just shipped and it was late, and that second bottle also shipped.

When I called to complain the "supervisor" (with a smirk/non professional manerism) indicated that he could read me the terms and conditions and that it is not their responsibility it is the consumers responsibility to read all of the terms and conditions. Which of course are misleading.

WARNING: do not fall for this scam...I am fighting the charges with my credit card team...but I can't guarantee Ill win.

i ordered a free trail of acai berry power 500 and cant cancel any future products as the company gives no email contact information. I feel that every company should have an email contact as the phone number they give would be too expensive for me to call from the UK.
I want my membership to them and any one else cancelled. I do not want to recieve any more bottles after my free trail.

I decided to try this product out as a free trial but i was also charged $89.31 and didn't find out until today so i would like my money. This is a scam as when i order this free trial i didn't know that i was going to be charged the extra $80+.

Like everyone else I was pissed off when I found out that they automatically charge you after 14 days of purchasing the trial product without informing clearly. So I found this page and after reading the reviews of finding it difficult to cancel, I was prepared to go through the red tape of cancelling this product. So I called the 877 350 8480 number they provided in the shipping, and the answering machine said that it is easier to contact them 6-9pm MST. So I did and surprisingly I got through to them straight away and I'm from Australia as well. They had good customer service also; but I think I learnt my lesson to not fall into these marketing traps again

I thought I would order this Acai Berry Power 500 after seeing ads online. It was supposedly endorsed by Oprah, so I figured I would give it a try. I ordered the trial for $1.00. It is supposed to be a 14 day trial. Well 13 days went by before I finally received the bottle. I tried to cancel on the 10th day and of course the number I found on the web site did not work. I called customer service and the women said the number was out of service and she gave me another number to call. Funny, that didn't work either. I finally saw the $1.00 charge on my online banking statement and there was a number. I tried it and it worked. This of course was on the 14th day. I called to cancel and the woman said I was already charged the 89.31 because it was shipped already and there wasn't anything I could do about it. I finally got the full supply 30 days later. Another thing. The trial is supposed to be a 14 day supply, there are only 15 pills. You are supposed to take 3 to 6 a day. That is not a 14 day supply. The 30 day supply only has 60 pills. This is a rip-off. Don't do what I did. I haven't even tried one now because I'm afraid what it could do to me.
