return money
I didn't get a warning that my trial period is up. Instead they took my money without making any attempt to give me the option of discontinuing their product. I have contacted them twice in the past 20 days. Both time's I was told I would receive a refund within a certain time frame. That has not happened. I am going to file a lawsuit against them within a couple of days.

Product Never Received
Customer # 2437421 (order # 1125105) On January 7, 2009 received notice that my order had been received and placed for a free trial (shipping charges only) for the ACAI Berry product praised by Opra on TV. As of the 19th of January i still have not received the product and can get no response from the company. The order was supposed to be shipped within 48 hours. they have my credit card number and my bet is that this is a scam. They will probably charge my credit card for a full amount and claim I didnot return the product by a given specified time if I didnot like the trial product. Since I have not received a product and cannot get a response I am assuming potential fraud. Your assistance is appreciated.

Unauthorized charges
I've had the same experience, as others, with this company. Unfortunately, I ordered the product right before the holidays, so it took a long time to get to me. I actually received the product 4 days before the 15 day trial period was over. I didn't even have the opportunity to open the bottle when I noticed the charge. I did use my debit card for this purchase, so I "hot carded" the number to prevent any further charges from this company. I was able to call 866-938-4832 and spoke with a rep that didn't speak English very well...she just kept telling me the policy until I asked to speak to her supervisor, 3 times, then she hung up on me. I hit redial and spoke with another rep who only told me their policy, twice, then gave me an RMA # for my return. I received a confirmation email the day I cnacelled. However, after reading these complaints, I am filing a fraud dispute with my bank in hopes of receiving a refund. The most embarrassing thing about this is...I work for the bank! :(

Scam Artist/Fraud
I am posting this complaint to further validate all previous complaints. With this scam the goal is to attract consumers via a free trial offer and then withdrawal funds from their credit card regardlesso of cancellation. If you attempt to correspond by utilizing the online chat you will be very dissapointed to find an email inquiry form; should you get a valid phone number to call plan on waiting for an extended period of time only to be put off 36 hours at a time. No matter how long or how many times you call there will never be any positive resolve. I wish I had read these complaints before ever becoming entangle in this online shake down.

Credit & unaruthorized charges
Ordered the free trial for 5.95, they charged me later the full price for the trial bottle out of my checking account, Then they sent me another bottle I sent it back, called them up, wanted my money credited to my account, they took money out for that bottle, still haven't received it, very bad business practices. Will never order anything from them again. Actually the free trail wasn't free at all!

Unauthorized charges
My name is Bruce and my wife is Linda. My wife ordered these pills on line for health reasons and all this ordeal has been is a financial rip off. We tried to cancel the membership and the phone number is bogus. Nobody answer the phone after several attempts to call the company. We even sent back the products and all still getting charges. We decided to cancel our credit card today due to ongoing charges by this company despite their statements that they canceled our account.
We have filed a complaint with the better business bureau as well as with our Chase Credit Card Company. This company is a bunch of crooks scamming people with phony initial first good deals similar to a drug pusher offering an addictive drug to get somebody addicted to drugs.

HOWEVER, PLEASE, BE SURE TO READ THE FINE PRINT. IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL YOUR ORDER WITHIN 14 DAYS OF ORDERING THE PRODUCT, YOU WILL BE BILLED AN EXTRA $89 THAT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. THE INTERESTING THING ABOUT THIS IS THAT YOU DON’T EVEN RECEIVE THE PRODUCT BEFORE THE TWO WEEK TIME FRAME. AND THE COMPANY DOES NOT PROVIDE YOU ANY CONTACT INFORMATION IN WHICH YOU CAN REACH THEM TO CANCEL -I HAD TO GET THE PHONE NUMBER FROM MY BANK.

SCAM!
On 11/28 I ordered a "free" sample of Acai Berry Supreme. I only needed to pay for shipping and handling. This is not the case, however. A month later on 12/24, I see I have been charged $88.62 on my debit card. I called the bank and because it's a debit card, AND the fact that this company is apparently oversears, I could not dispute the charge and have it removed. I can't even get to the website where I ordered the product. So, I had to cancel my debit card and apply for a new one to ensure I would not be charged again. All I know is I best be getting a shipment of something SOON. I can not reach this Acai Berry Supreme Store on ANY of the phone #'s that they have provided.
And so, my research began. It appears that I am one of many, many people that have been affected by this major scam. How is this possible? This product is being promoted by Oprah nd Rachael Ray. They need to be told of this scam right away.
I'm emailing anyone that will listen to me – including the BBB and local news stations. If you have been ripped off, I suggest you do the same!

Scam
Please take into consideration all of the complaints you're reading about Acai Berry Supreme. There is something suspicious about this company. If you'll notice all of the complaints are nearly the same.
I noticed a red flag when I was ordering the product. Prior to the order being completed there was a site that came up for a free trial for another product. Unfortuately I don't recall the name of it. It had something to do with buying products at a discounted price online. Agreeing to accept the offer was the only way to complete the order for Acai Berry Supreme. There was no option to decline the offer. I tried to go back and stop the order. I thought it did not go through because I didn't complete the entire process. It wasn't until I checked my email that I learned that the order did go through; I received an email from them saying my order was in process.
I decided to call (800) 787-1219 to cancel my order as soon as they opened. To my surprise someone did answer within five minutes. I wanted to make sure that I keep a record of the necessary information related to my request to cancel my order so I started asking various questions, including the customer representatives first and last name or their employee number (usually a customer services representative will give you one or the other). She would only tell me that her first name is "Jen" and they are not allowed to give out their employee number. All of sudden, she started talking over me, reading a script about calling a 800 number and abruptly hung up in my face.
I called back and spoke to someone else who was able to tell me the exact same cancellation confirmation number for my account as "Jen." She would not give me any information related to the other company stating that she can only give information related to my account with Acai Berry Supreme. With that said, I will be calling my bank to cancel the credit card I used to order this product. I have a haunch that it is highly likely that sometime or another I will be billed from this other company.
Another frustrating experience was the language barrier with the customer services representatives. As with many companies their customer services representatives are in another country and they do not speak English clearly.

Terms and conditions
Go over your terms and conditions before ordering, getting angry poeple, read the terms and conditions of anything you buy online, cmon its 2008 almost 2009 and your irate because you were charged f or something YOU did not cancel in time. If the number doesnt work, rubbish if you do not want to get charged you will call that number every second of the day.Also theres other ways of getting in contact with them .
