Acai Berry Tropic is not worth the time or effort it takes to get anything resolved. I received it, canceled it, received another supply but did not receive a charge but wait! They sent me an e-mail saying my card had been declined! Unbelievable! Not only did I have enough money to cover it but I have coverage to ensure my charges go through! Their e-mail read I had 5 days to reply or they would send me to collections. I responded saying there was no way my card declined. Two days later they sent me to collections! What kind of math are they doing? Replied again saying I did reply and that I replied the same day I received the e-mail. Received another e-mail saying they wanted to work with me to pay my outstanding balance because of my declined card AND THIS time the e-mail read "do not reply to this e-mail as it goes into an e-mail box that is not read". Why am I not surprised. Suddenly the charge that did not go through on my "declined" card went through so I had to call. They finally cancelled my account (even though I had ALREADY cancelled) but would not give me a confirmation number. Today I looked at my account and I was charged a $2.84 for a foreign ATM or POS fee? Could they stick the knife in any further? So, I am out $88.64 x 2 and the "foreign" ATM" fee and only have the name of Karen Scofield as the "cancellation confirmation" number. Karen, don't do me wrong girl! Oh, if that is your real name (not likely).

On 9/29/09 I responded on line to a 14 day free trial period to try Acia Berry Tropic Dietary Supplement, I had to pay $4.95 shipping that was to be charged to my card to try the product risk free for 14 days, a few days pass and a solicitor called me from some company that mentined my free trial of Acia Berry Tropic and was trying to give me a $50 gas voucher, I cut them short and declined their offer and said I wanted to cancel my 14 day free trial of Acia Berry Tropic. 25 days passes and I receive a bottle of Acia Berry Tropic on 10/24/09, decided to try any ways since it showed up, 3 days after (10/27/09) receving the product I received a e-mail saying my credit card refused the transaction for $88.64 and that they had been trying to contact me with out sucess, I never received any notice by mail or phone from Essential Health Brands of Wilmington, DE, they stated that if I did not respond in 5 days that I would be turned in to a 3rd party collection agency and that my credit score and rating would be affected. After several attemts to contact them I finally got through and talked to a representive after I blocked my phone number, she said I was obligated to pay because the trial period started the day I placed the order not the day I received the product and that I needed to read the terms and conditions...I had been Scamed, I checked my credit card statement and have been charged $4.95 for shipping the day after the order, $88.64+fnfee of $1.77 =$90.41 twice 14 days apart, the first charge was 10/15/09 the second was 10/29/09, and now have a charge from build wealth on the 10/20/09 for $30.00 that I have no idea what it is!!! from the time I placed the order to today it has been 36 days and I have charges totaling $215.77 on my Visa Credit Card... Beware!!! This Company has Scam and Fraud Written all over it...Please Beware this is Fraud!!! I ordered the product on 09/04/2009 $88.64 was drafted from my account. I did receive the product and tried it. Again on 09/19/2009 #88.64 was drafted out of my account I did receive the product thought I would give it one more month. Again on10/19/2009 #88.64 was drafted. I decided I di not want the product after that. Called and after over half hour waiting I cancelled. I then called back and made sure they had done just that. I did not receive verification like I asked but did get the name of the person.I have not received the product yet...but did receive an e-mail threatning me with collections. I have gone to every web sight on this paper work and can't find them. After looking things over the money drafted out is under different company names. I only ordered with one company. I do intend to pursue this as far as I can.

I ordered acai berry tropic free trial. I received the product and decided not to use it and returned it the same day. I had already canceled prior to receiving the product by phone and was told it would not even be shipped and received it any way. My ID number is 5682361. The number I was given to put on the return envelope was 19850 and then when I received my credit card bill on 10/6/09 there was an $88.64 charge. I would like a refund and I have a confirmation number where the product was received back by acai. This is a bad business practice on the part of your company and if I don't receive a credit within 48 hours I will have no other choice but to turn this matter over to my attorney.

This happened to me too...

When purchasing this product, I was told I would receive a 30 day free trial. I never received the product but was charged $88.64 seventeen days after they supposedly delivered. Two weeks later was charged another $88.64. When I called the company they told me that as far as they were concerned, I had received the product. When I insisted that I did not receive the product, I was told that they would not refund or resend product because I had the option to cancel within 30 days. I asked him how I could have known whether I liked the product well enough not to cancel if I never got it. I then pointed out that I was not even given the 30 days before they charged me.

After getting nowhere with this person I asked to speak to the billing department. According to this operator, the billing department had just moved and did not have a phone number.

When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told that the supervisor was out. When I pushed the issue, he change his story, and I was told the supervisor was helping other people. I told him I would wait. The operator put me on hold where I stayed for 20 minutes.

If this has happened to you, you need to DISPUTE THE CHARGE, THEN CANCEL THE CARD YOU PAID WITH!
