Fraudlulent Charges
So back in December I received an email from my husband with the "dieter's blog" thing, and my husband saying to check this out. I read the "blog" and trusting my husband (he's normally very careful about these things) I completely fell for the crap these 2 companies gave me. So I ordered the Acai Burn one month trial (but yet only 14 days free - I later found out) and the Colon Cleanse Rx one month trial. Thinking I had done a great thing here, I waited for the Colon Cleanse to get here before I decided to star the Acai Burn, which came abut a week after I ordered it. The Colon Cleanse Rx go here just last week. So, on Jan 3, we noticed a $59.95 charge from Acai Burn. I called the number associated to the charge from my bank account and found that they were closed and would have to call them on Monday, Jan 5. On the 5th, I called and spoke with a lady, to whom I got rather rude with, and demanded my $59.95 refunded back to my account, and the account with them completely cancelled, and told them I would return the Acai Burn back to them. The lady told me that the money would be refunded back, and the account closed. So, today, we got an email from our bank questioning some charges. We checked out our account, and sure enough, we were almost $300 in the red (negative) with a $1.00 charge to Napster, a $2.50 charge to www.clickandbuy.com, two charges to Netflix for $9.89 (we have Netflix, but our charges are only $9.44/month and that was already taken out this month), a $78.84 charge for Cleanse Bodystore (apparently that's the Colon Rx), and then a $279.95 charge for Digital River www.myord.com. So... we contacted our bank, and fortunately they are refunding everything back to us but the Netflix because we have an account with Netflix and we have to go throug them to get that taken care of. So that's my story... that's how it is... this stuff in a big ol' scam... I wish I had looked on this site before I placed those original orders... would've saved me a LOT in the long run...
