OK I was almost where a lot of these people who tried the ACAI OPTIMUM Optimum plan were. I went to the link above and thought WOW ACAI OPTIMUM free trial and this is an investigative article stated that there was no gimmicks that attached you to a long term committment I quote the reporter who tried the product JULIA OF CONSUMER NEWS as stating in her article

Problem was that immediately after ordering the free trial something did not feel right. I tried to go back to the purchase info screen by hitting the arrow back and site would not allow it. So I opened up a new purchase screen and For the 14 day trial you put your information in and credit card for the shipping and handling and you think ok that is it I will try this thing for 14 days and if I don't like it then I don't have to order anymore except the very small line at the bottom of the screen that says " I agree to privacy policy and terms and conditions with maii in rebate*", but the terms can't be opened to read where that statement is printed. This did not make since to me why would I want a rebate on my $1.99 shipping and handling. You can't open the terms to read them where they are listed on the purchase screen and the screen is set up to give the visual effect that the purchase info box is pretty much all that is on the page because that and the add for the product is all lyou see so when you hit enter and submit it your purcase is made. I thought there was going to be a second screen that would have me verify other info maybe or agree to the terms and conditions, but no when you hit submit you agree and then remember you can't hit the arrow back key to locate the terms it is all done. When I opened up a new page from JULIA'S site I still did not see a link for the terms, but when you began to scroll down you realize it is not just the purchase info on that page and when you go to that section that has testimonials and information about what else is in ACAI OPTIMUM, at the very end of all this you find purchase order terms for the rebate which reads as follows:

WOW was I BLOWN AWAY did I just commit to this I did purchase a rebate program but a trial offer program? I called the Customer Service Dept number immeidately because I didn't trust cancelling through the website. I told the customer service rep I wanted to cancel my trial order and it took her at least 3 minutes trying to spell my name right. Then she put me on hold for about 3 minutes. She came back to verify my information which took almost 5 minutes then she put me on hold for about 4-5 minutes more. I asked her to clarify for me that by purchasing the trial for free was I also obligating myself to the $199.92 purchase of the kit and she seemed not to be able to understand what I was asking her. After a few minutes of rewording my question she simply stated " YES" I would be committing to the purchase of the packet then she immediately stated "Your cancellation confirmation number is ... is that all" I stated "yes" and she said "ok" and that was the end of that.

JULIA in her article advises that the ACAI OPTIMUM does not work unless you take it with the ADVANCED COLON CLEANSE which is also a product by THE NUTRITION CRAZE GROUP (NTCG). When you go to that site it is the same screen the same terms as listed in the rebate PROGRAM above. Click sumbit for the free trial and you are obligated to another whopping $199.92. One even better is JULIA has another article that she wrote about the Acai berry, "ACAI BERRY DIET EXPOSED: MIRACLE DIET OR SCAM"?", but the product is called ACAI ULTRA LEAN and the colon cleanser is called COLOPURE CLEANSE. What is hilarious is this is the same article that she wrote for ACAI OPTIMUM AND ADVANCED COLON CLEANSE as a matter of fact the testimonials are the same the only difference is in the ACAI OPTIMUM her weight loss is documented in pounds and in the ACAI ULTRA LEAN article it is documented in kilograms. Both articles have a link in them for whichever 2 products it is about, but when you go to the links the set up of the pages are the same except the background colors and it may have the picture of a different person as the example of how effective the product was other than that it is the same link.

Don't get me wrong I don't even know if the products that THE NUTRITION CRAZE GROUP put out is good or not. They may be effective and what JULIA documents could be true for whichever product she took as she documents in both articles " Actually everyone at Consumer News Weekly is kicking themselves for not having volunteered to be the guinea pig. Using the ACAI ULTA LEAN and COLOPURE CLEANSE in week 4 I lost 2.5Kgs. But to be honest I really didn't have much more than that left to lose. And I am definately going to continue taking the ACAI ULTRA LEAN afterwards because it has so many antioxidants and vitamins that makes my skin look unbelievable." Replace ULTRA LEAN WITH OPTIMUM, COLOPURE WITH ADVANCED COLON, AND 2.4 KGS WITH 3LBS and you have the exact quote from of above by JULIA as in the other article. That being the case if JULIA could not stand to lose anymore weight JULIA could not have done both plans with the exact same results and wording.
