Acai Optimum Reviews

Free Trial Offer
Do not go for the trial of Acai Optimum. They wait til right before your trial period is up and then charge you 79.98 for the bottle you received. Try to talk to them and tell them you cancelled your order, but they refuse to refund your money. They get you every time.

charges to my credit card
What a rip-off. I was willing to try the product for 1.50. That's fair - and IF iit actually did something may even be worth continuing to purchase the product. In no way did I intend to become a member for $79.95 per month. But apparently I did. I received the product but they conveniently did not include any paperwork for you to be able to contact them to cancel. On the website if I tried to cancel it didn't work.

So I became an un-willing member. Received nothing else and when I called them they refused to issue a credit - said they were unable to. We all know that is not true and if they were an ethical company in the least, they would offer some customer satisfaction. They would not budge at all and said it was my fault. They must be making a fortune on suckers who actually believe when they order a trial product they will be only charged for that product. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT. IT IS A TOTAL RIP-OFF AND YOU GET NOTHING FOR YOUR MONEY. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

Fraud
I only wish I would have known about this site first. I am now one of many who believed this was an honest company only to be defrauded. I am meeting with my bank and attorney general. I told this to Acai Optimum and they could care less. Obviously this is how they make money-through fraud.

Scam
Ordered this product because I saw the supposed "free" trial. I paid for shipping and handling $3.95. Not even 14 days had gone by in which I was automatically enrolled into a subscription membership, I noticed a charge of $79.95 to my account. I called to dispute this charge, and the customer service woman was not helpful or understanding at all. She said that my 14 day "free" trial period had expired and now I was to pay $79.95 per month. I told her that I had not even owned the product for a week yet. She would not listen to any voice of reason and kept stating that the 14 day trial period had ended, and there are no refunds. This is a scam!!! There is nothing free about this except for them freely taking your money and insisting a trial is up and charging you for it before it actually is.

they charge for 2 memberships in violation of federal law
WATCH OUT! I've seen several complaints so far about a new, blatant criminal act by a company peddling Acai Optimum. If you are a victim, be sure to report this crime to the fbi's online crime website.
Here's how the crime is committed-You sign up for a FREE TRIAL of ACAI OPTIMUM. You call and you cancel, because you know these pills are outrageously priced. So, you call and tell them you are canceling the membership. BUT, you will discover that you are charged the $80 anyhow. You call acai optimum back and ask why you were charged after cancellation. Acai optimum tells you that you only canceled an online journal membership, but you neglected to cancel your pill membership.
LET ME MAKE THIS VERY CLEAR, THERE IS NO DISCLOSURE WHATSOEVER OF THERE BEING TWO MEMBERSHIPS IN THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS. The crime is set up so when customers call an agent, the agent does not tell you that there are two memberships. When you call to cancel, the agent cancels the cheapest membership, which is the journal membership of $30. If this was EVER ANY mention of it, it would still be in violation of consumer protection laws, but since there's no mention of this, it is in violation of FEDERAL LAW.
Call you bank or credit card company. tell them how this crime is being committed. Tell them that you are demanding a chargeback, because you card was used illegally. Also, email your bank or credit card company a copy of their terms and conditions for acai optimum, proving that this company is committed credit card theft by never mentioning TWO subscriptions, all just to charge you for their crap product that doesn't even work!
You can get acai, resveratrol, or any of these other pills being peddled at walgreens for under $10, BUT you will NOT lose any weight. That is because acai, resveratrol, etc was NEVER claimed by the scientific community to help you lose weight or look younger. THEY ARE ONLY ANTI OXIDANTS, NOT WEIGHT LOSS PILLS.
If you are a victim of this crime, please visit the fbi's website, and search for their online crime site. Remember, this is a serious, serious crime.

Scam Deceptive Terms and Conditions
ABSOLUTELY STAY AWAY FROM ACAI OPTIMIM!!!

You will be lucky to have found this page, since they have created countless fake Acai Optimum reviews / warning scam web pages...funny how the Acai Optimum scam pages still direct you to purchase their product via hyperlink! :-|

So, I saw the advertisement for Acai Optimum on Facebook. They stated you could have a free trial and only pay shipping and handling. I filled out the order form to have the free trial bottle of Acai Optimum sent out. Sorry, I am repeatedly using the keyword Acai Optimum to help the spiders sent out by search engines to help this reach a more desirable position.

Upon reading their tems and conditions I realized that Acai Optimum was a total scam. You have to cancel within 14 days or you become enrolled in a recurring $79.98 monthly charge. That raised an immediate red flag for me. So, I went online to cancel my order. HERE'S WHAT THEY DON'T TELL YOU...I was enrolled into an Acai Optimum Plan AND some sort of product subscription that IS NOT stated in their terms and conditions. When I accessed my account on Acai Optimum, I canceled what I thought was my order. NO! I received a confirmation email saying my subscription was canceled for the Acai Optimum plan and I would no longer be charged for the Acai Optimum plan. Done right? HELL NO! Yesterday, I was charged $79.98 from Acai Optimum within 3 weeks of signing up for the "Trial Offer."

I called explained my case (after waiting over 20 minutes on hold) and was told when you sign up for their product you are enrolled into TWO plans??? This was not stated anywhere in the terms and conditons. He said I also needed to cancel the product and send it back within 30 days. I explained that I thought I canceled the Acai Optimum order and could still send it back within the 30 period. NO! He said both memberships needed to be canceled from Acai Optimum within 14 days. Total B.S. I went to file a claim with the Better Business Bureau only to find that Acai Optimum is based out of Antigua.

I should have known better than to try and receive a free trial, but am just sickened that these deceitful rat bastards are allowed to conduct business. I wish Acai Optimum all the impending misfortune that they have coming to them. A claim has been filed on behalf of my credit card company. I don't expect the charges to be refunded, but strongly urge anyone scammed by Acai Optimum to do the same.

ACAI OPTIMUM ADVANCED CLEANSE
WARNING!!! This is the pro scam of XXI. century ! The advertisement is professionally built. Congratulation!
But there is NO information true on it ! This makes me to avoid buying products from internet.
I'am sure this kind of fraud is increasing dramatically in the next future. Authorities and fair internet selling companies should do something ASAP, because it can destroy the whole industry...

conflicting information
I ordered this product on 3/3/10. I did not receive an order notification as promised in my confirmation, and after waiting 7 days (which is the maximum number of shipping days), I contacted the company through their "customer care" link and had a live chat. I was told that my order was being shipped that day and that my trial was "extended indefinitely". After waiting another 5 days and with only 2 days left of my trial period, I checked the order status on the website only to find that it has not been updated. Concerned, I called the customer care number. I spoke to a woman by the name of Robby Sanders who told me that the order has been shipped and that I should call tomorrow (1 day before my expired trial period) to extend my trial period because the product was in transit. I questioned why I could not extend it at this time, and I was told that I couldn't extend the trial period on a weekend! I questioned her conflicting information and asked to speak to a supervisor. She told me I needed to wait 10-15 minutes. (I don't know how she knew that). I waited in silence (which was wierd to me). She got back on the line and told me it would be another 10-15 minutes. I waited...She got back on and told me that I needed to call back to speak to a supervisor, but that my trial was extended 5 more days (to the 21st). I asked for the shipment date, she couldn't tell me. I asked why the delay, she couldn't tell me. She gave me a tracking number though, and I haven't checked it yet. I cancelled my order. The terms and conditions of cancelling are that you can cancel and ship the EMPTY bottle back in 30 days. She tried to tell me to send back 28 pills!!! I read her the terms and conditions that I PRINTED OUT. I told her of the other information I recieved from the online chat, she said nothing. She also kept going in and out on the phone and I couldn't hear everything. I recieved an order cancellation confirmation, an RMA return number and a tracking number. We'll see...

Deceptive Advertising
First of all the product did nothing to help me lose weight. It did not curb my appetite nor give me any energy. I stopped taking it half way through. Their advertising leads you to believe that you are getting a month's worth of the product for free if you pay the shipping. Turns out that they charge you $79.98 if you do not cancel the order within 14 days. It's a scam!! They will charge you every month if you do nothing. If it wasn't a scam I should have had another shipment on its way because it has been over a month. They just want to rip off as many people as possible.

Companies should not be allowed to operate like that. It's a disgrace!!!
