Pharma Labs, Acai Cleanse : I also got sucked in by the "free trial offer" meaning that I thought I was just paying for the $4.95 s & h charge but then got a $79.95 charge on my account. After the fact, I did re-review and it does sketchily say 10 day trial period vs. 30 day trial product, which is the confusing part. I may be a simple minded consumer, but I am not a person without respect. I feel stupid not only for ordering a simple herbal laxative that is 8 times over priced, I feel stupid for having been hood winked into such a purchase. Calling they did credit my account for this charge...but why should I even have to do that if the product and price is what it claims to be? I told the gal on the phone that I only wanted the "sample item" nothing else...not the monthly service JUST the sample product. Guess what? This charge showed up on my account today. I was never able to reach anyone on the phone, but I left a message voicing my anger and disapproval. Charges showed up on my account and that is what prompted me to call again and embarrassingly explain to a obviously very young girl, popping her gum, that I was searching for a product to help bowel elimination as a means of losing weight, more energy etc, etc...whatever. She reminded me that I had to return the items within 14 days or I would be charged $79.95 full price. THEN the real marketing motivation and draw in to continue, they'll give you a "surprise" 50 % discount to keep getting a product that could not be actually be worth more than $6.00. If you don't call some pay the $79.95, if you do you get a discount. So if you're stupid enough not to call, $79.95 is charged to your CC. If you call because you're on SS, scared to death about sudden bank charges you didn't know were coming and embarrassed you got such a "stupid" charge for such a "stupid" product and you can't pay your rent they'll give you the discount which still works for them in a big way, but is still "stupid" for you!

The ingredients aren't going to kill you, hopefully, but the unscrupulous sales tactics may. This company and those copy cat companies won't be around long on their own, they are just one of the many product marketing fads that pop up everywhere trying to make a big grap it and run profit. Folks, go to your doctor, your health food store or the grocery vegetable section...get the same for way less and keep your dignity!

I recieved one trial sample of acai berry and had bad side effects - my heart raced so much I thought I was having a heart attack. I immediately called to cancel any future bottles. When I cancelled, I was not told that there was an email newsletter that you pay for each month that also had to be cancelled SEPARATELY. I have since been charged for a newsletter I have never read on a product that I tried only once. When I tried to get a refund, I was referred to the Legal Department. This company is committing FRAUD by not cancelling everything when you call to cancel. I will continue to to dispute this with the Performance Products Legal Department, my credit card company and will also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

They cheat the customers like they want.They will play with your credit card as they want.Please dont order this..It dont work and even though you cancel they keep charging your credit card.If you call the customer service they keep saying like we will get 70% of our refund where we are paying for something where we are not supposed to pay.

I did not call them with in 15 days, so i was chrged 88$ where its fine.So after i have seen that i had called the customer service and told that to cancell all my future transactions.Even though they had send me the second one and charged me 94$.I dont know why this happens, and when i called the cutomer service people they were telling like i will get 70% of my refund.First of all i cancelled everything and even though they send me the second one and they are saying i will get 70%of it.This is really bad.I might get the third one even though i cancelled the second one.They keep playing with our credit card info..Trust me..It happend to me..Their business is to cheat the customers.Dont give your credit card info..

I was completely unhappy with this product!!! Not only does it NOT WORK, but they give keep very important info from you. They send you a package with you pill and a wripped piece of paper that staes why Acai Berry is "sooo good for you." No where on the paper does it say that you need to call and cancel within 14 days if you don't want to be charged $89 for these pills. Also, it does not state that anywhere on the website. I do not recomend this product to anyone. IT IS A SCAM!!! and if I could make my letters bolder in this review, trust me I would!!!

I ordered a trial size bottle of acai pills on 8.15.08 and was charged $5.87. On 9.15.08 I was charged another $5.87 and 3 days later another trial size bottle was sent to me. I ret'd that bottle, unopened and logged onto the website to dispute the charge. I was to be reimbursed...on 9/26/08 I received a larger bottle of the same product and was charged $74.76. I again went online after not being able to reach someone on the phone and disputed the charge and product. I ret'd (unopend) again this shipment. I have been on their website for the 4th time trying to cancel and get reimbursed...no results. I am currently disputing the charges with my bank and am filing a claim with them.
