DO NOT PURCHASE!

I was almost scammed by this company. The website offered a free trial for 1.67. When I made the attempt to get the trial, it said there was an error message. So I tried again and the same thing happen. I made about 4 attempts. The next day i saw that the company tried to charge me 89.92 four times. I called the company about this and they said they HAD NO RECORD OF ME!. So i called my bank and they gave me the number to the company that attempted to charge me the amount. I called them again and they said THEY HAD NO RECORD OR INFORMATION ABOUT ME. BEWARE!

The specific terms of service reflect that you will be billed $1.95 total for the product for the initial trial and only $4.95 for any monthly refills. The company in fact billed my credit card repeatedly for $88.19. This is a total scam. Do not sign up for ths inexpensive trial. You will be sorry.

Refused refund for product since past 14 day free trial period never opened called today to cancel said sent it back will give you credit for $41.95 of $83.95 charge. Will dispute with credit card company but ACAI said it will do no good.

After looking at the add online to try the Acai product, at no cost except shipping $4.95, I entered my banking info. the site said bank card declined...????? later that day my bank called from the fraud dept. asking if I in fact had made the purchase, they noticed it was an unusual charge for me. I agreed that yes I had paid for shipping $4.95. It was at least 7-10 days that the product came in the mail. There wasn't any instructions in the envelope on trial period. With it being the holidays, I didn't get to try the product. Then whamo, $83.95 charge shows up on my bank account. Sadly, I have limited income, with 3 kids to support. I did not have this kind of money sitting around for some diet product. When I called immediately, the man was very clear, ABSOLUTELY no refunds. I asked him if I could send the unopened product back for a refund, he was flat out NO REFUNDS. I've never heard of a policy like this. It is my hope someone out here will investigate this company. I just read a complaint from "arizewgirl" and boy don't I wish I had read it before I ever heard of this wretched company. I just got off the phone from 55 minute conversation with Acai Pure Detox. I called them because I had a $83.95 charge debited from my bank account for a trial of their Acai Pure Detox product. 1st, the offer was for a free 14-day trial and pay only $1.95 for shipping. Although I had been charged the $1.95, I never received the product. I called but no one could locate an order for me...no offered to send me the trial offer. After a third attempt, I didn't think much of it because it was $1.95. But much to my disbelief, this underhanded organization charged me $83.95. When I saw this on my bank statement I was livid! I called them for more than a week before someone would speak with me without putting me on extended hold. They still contended they could not find an order - but declined extend a refund. Of course, miraculously they find the order now...but 1st say, I did not keep my end of the bargain to call them...then it is too late for a money back guarantee...then they Do Not give refunds. I spoke with Jerry, station #50 (they give no last names...he hung up on me after flatly stating that I WOULD NOT GET ANY MONEY BACK. I spoke with someone who said a supervisor would be calling me back. I am still waiting for that call. I spoke again with A.J. #861, who was very argumentative and belligerent - but eventually allowed to speak with a supervisor. This was Tami #164. She refused to provide any managerial information, she also advised that A.J. station # was #70 instead of #861. This company is conducting fraud business practices and I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and Chamber of Commerce. Please beware of ACAI PURE DETOX. They will rip you off!
