ACAI Pure Reviews

trial offer fraud
I purchased this product, acai pure. The webpage stated this was a free trial offer, with the additional S/H of $4.99.
That's fine. They later charged me $ 39.95. I called to state that I did not order their automatic monthly debit and ship.
They said "read the fine print". So if you don't ship the prodcut back in 14 days they charge you the $39.95.
This company is a fraud. This offer is a scam. Stay away from them. Too bad Oprah is associated with them. Also, even if you can manage to get a refund from these types of companies they keep your money for over 30 days, which I suspect is their MO so they can hold on to our dollars and use it for 30 days or more. Their way of getting an interest free short term loan.

Crooks
I'm like everyone else I have read about on here. Burned. This is one unethical company. They essentially scam you out of your money and also share your information with others so that you will begin seeing unauthorized charges against your credit/debit account. I ordered the initial trial of Acaipure and once I read about this company up front I immediately returned the product and cancelled any further orders. It has taken two months and complaints to the FTC, my state's attorney general's office and their Better Business Bureau to get a PORTION of what they billed me returned. STAY AWAY FROM ACAI PURE and CENTRAL COAST NUTRACEUTICALS. Once they have your account information you will pay hell getting them to stop and/or to refund a portion of what they have stolen from you.

Here is how it works...you sign up for a free trial of the product. They bill you $4.99 for shipping. The shipping cost $2.90, by the way. They do not disclose to you that if you return the product you will be billed a 15% re-stocking fee (even if it is returned unopened and at YOUR expense). Even though they have received the returned product they will continue to bill you $39.95 on your credit/debit account until you catch it. By the time it is done...if you have caught them at their game...they have stolen $11.00 from you after the refund (which you will FIGHT for, believe me). Companies like this have made me very leary of ordering anything online ever again. They do a disservice to all of the reputable online companies

FALSE advertising
False Advertising!

This product is NOT for "Diverticulosis" suffers!!!

It contains "CASCARA SEGARDA"!!!

It does not even tell you what the "MILLAGRAM" content is for each ingredient is list on the label!

SO...you think you are buying "PURE ACAI"?????...NO!

This is a combination of herbs.

The CUSTOMER SERVICE is awful!!!

I asked for a refund of the un-used product and still have NO RESPONSE!

How do "Rachel RAY" and "Oprah" lend their names and endorsement to this product??????????

BUYER BEWARE!!!

Bad for Diverticulosis and BAD Customer Service
Do "NOT" buy this product if you suffer from Diverticulosis!!!

Beware - this product contains "CASCARA SAGRADA" (very bad for Diverticulosis)

*Also they DO NOT list the "Millagrams" for each of the ingredients!
So you spend $44.00
And have " NO IDEA" how much "Acai" is even in the product???

It just says a "Combined" ingredients "Totaling" 800 mgs.

I suffer from Diverticulitis and after ONLY "TAKING 1 PILL"...I was in severe pain and having "watery stool"

The PROBLEM here is: "you have NO idea how much dosage of each "ingredient" you are taking!"

I bought this ONLY for colon help and it made me feel WORSE!
You are better off "Drinking" Acai Juice from the Supermarket "Bossonova Brand" - if youare lookign for the BENEFITS of "Acai"

THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!

I asked for a REFUND of my un-used portion (meaning 1 tablet missing) and they still have NOT gotten back to me!

How does "RACHEL RAY" and "OPRAH" allow their names to be used for this product?????

BUYER BEWARE!!!

Unrecognized and Unauthorized charges
I ordered a free trial of the Acai Berry dietary pill as was show on the Oprah show with Dr. Oz. I agreed to pay for $ 3.95. I received the the free trial product and now I have been charged 29.95 from a website called www.fit-fac.com. I want the charges to be taken off my credit card accounts.

Fraud Alert Company! Terrible Customer service
Not only does this company charge you two to three weeks before it ships your shipment, but when you call to check on the status of your order. They always, always have a 40 minute wait time. When you finally get through they half-heartedly apologize for the delay, giving you the excuse that they are overwhelmed with orders, due to the popularity of their product.

I have cancelled my membership, and still have not received my bottle of Acai that what charged almost a month ago. What a joke!!

Deceptive Advertising
I ordered a free trial of AcaiPure and understood I was being charged $4.95 shipping. After putting in my credit card # a notice came up saying my card would be charged monthly. I then received a call from the company confirming my order and I advised the girl I felt their ad was deceptive and that I wanted my order cancelled. I DID NOT WANT THE FREE TRIAL. She acknowledged and said would cancel the order. Now I see the charge on my card. Unable to get thru on the customer service line. I feel this is illegal and intend to contact the Attorney Generals Office.

never ordered more than trial
I received one trial bottle of Acai Pure then I have gotten continued monthly supplies. I want all this stopped. I do not appreciate being charged 44.00 monthly for somthing I didn't order. The bottles remain sealed.

Rip Off
I participated in the trial product by paying only shipping charges for the Acai Pure. They also sent HoodiaBurst gum and Hoodiawater, which I did not order and was charged to my card. They continued to send bottles of the Acai Pure. I have e-mailed them numerous times and tried to call with a wait time of 45+ minutes. They have a contract e-mail [email protected] and also a www.getorderhelp.com. I did finally get them to cancel any future orders, however by that time they had sent me about 5 orders total. I sent their products back and have not received but one credit of $39.00. They said that I sent it back too late!!
I have been e-mailing and going on the get help website over and over and still get no response.
Something should be done with this company, especially as many complaints that I see regarding this same problem. Kim
