I can' believe this happens in the U.S. and no one has been able to do anything about this. It is such a SCAM!!! I also can't believe they are using Oprah's name as bait. I conacted the FTC and several authorities to file a complaint. Can you imagine between $35.00 and $44.95 from so many people? What an in "your face rip off". Hope they get caught...and I find about it. I closed my account...let's see who will they bill now.

I ordered a free trail of Acai Pure, with a $4.99 shipping coast, order date 9/24/08. Since that time my Chase checking account has been debited 3 times, without authorization: 1) 9/25/08 -44.95; 2) 10/27/08 -39.95; and 3) 11/28/08 -44.85, a total of $129.65. The only amount that was authorized was for the trial offer, $4.99. If I ever had any thoughts of using your product, I no longer have any such interest.

I want to be reimbursed for the 3 unauthorized debit for the total amount of $129.65, a.s.a.p. Chase Bank has been notified, and they are prepared to file a claim of said amount, if I am not immediately reimbursed.

I expect immediate attention to this matter.

Their claim was that I could try their product free for 1 month, and I called them within the first couple of weeks and told them their product didn't do a THING, and I did not want anymore, the man tole me I would not receive anymore, to make a long story short, my FREE month's trial cost me Damned near $85.00. Buyer BEWARE of ultra fine print for a product that DOES NOT WORK. RIP-OFF ARTISTS!!!

It sounds like my complaint is the same as many others that have been registered against this scam. I am returning the most recent shipment and expect a full credit, including shipping and handling but I do not authorize a restocking fee.

My original order was for a free trial of Acai Pure. I agreed to pay shipping and handling of $4.95. I received the free bottle plus Hoodia and some idiot gum that I did not order. My credit card was charged$44.85 on 10/07/08. On November 3, 2008, I was charged $39.95 and another charge of $44.90 on November 18, 2008. On December 14, I received another bottle of Acai Pure which I am returning along with notification of cancellation of the so-called membership which I did not authorize. Additionally, my credit card has been authorized to dispute these charges and will not honor further charges from your company.

This was no "Free" trial. I was subject to the scam too! They make it so you can't speak to "customer service" like they state. I sent numerous emails and they still did not respond. They don't make it clear that you will be billed for additional shipments every month!
