Acai Pure is a false advertiser of their product. They over-charged me $45 like everyone else who orders the free trial. If you call their customer service there is a wait time of 45 minutes. When I tried to ask the person about the overcharges they said the website was clear, which it is not. When I asked how the product works no one seems to know. They say it "detoxes" your system. I say how does it do that? No one knows, there is no information on the website. All I can say is that after three does, one pill once a night -- I've been on the toliet for a week straight. This product can cause serious problems to your intestines and colon. You may never be able to digest food again properly for a long time. BUYER BEWARE!

Trial Offer became a nightmare. Received other products without authorization from me. Example Gum for $9.99. Tried to speak with a customer call representative. After being on hold for approximately twenty minutes someone who goes by the name of Paul Williams answered and was of no help. I insisted that I did not order the product and that it was sent without my authorization. He stated that when I agreed to the trial product I was agreeing to all its terms including regular shipments of other products. I am being billed $44.90 for this shipment. He said I could return it but I would have to absorb the cost of shipping. I continued to ask for his supervisor or superior. The representative refused to do so and finally he hung up on me. This is such a SCAM. It's got to be illegal. When I initially ordered the trial offer they e-mailed me to say they were having a problem with their shipping because of the abundance of orders! When they asked for me to confirm my order I e-mailed back to please cancel the order. Of course this was ignored and they proceeded to send it anyway.

I'm another one that got took for $44.85 for Hoodiburst Gum & Hoodiawater 1 unit. who in thier right mind would pay that price for Gum & Water?
This is the second time I''ve got stung on somthing Ophra had on her show . NO MORE.

I've tried every way I know how to get them to send me a return lable to send the junk back so for no luck. I've sent E-mails they don't answer phone calls. I'll next write a letter. and waist a good 42 cent stamp, to see what happens.

I ordered Acai Pure free trial and was only suppose to pay $1.95 shipping and handling. When I opened the package I also recieved Hoodiburst Gum and Hoodia Water which I did not order. These items cost $9.95 and $29.95. Also they charged me $4.95 shipping and handling and on the bag which it was shipped in the charge for shipping it says $2.54. I tried to call this company 5 times. The first three times I was left on hold for 15 minutes waiting for a customer service representative. I then hung up. I tried back two more times, put my phone on speaker and after one hour my phone disconnected. I sent two e-mails. Did not get a response from the first one. On 12/1/08, I recieved a response saying thank you for contacting our Customer Service Dept., our representatives are diligently working to get your problem resolved. Please allow 48 - 72 hours for a response. It is now 12/08/08, one week later, and I have not heard back from them. By the way I sent the products back with no confirmation number because I couldn't get one from them. I haven't heard back yet. I did however, put a dispute in with my credit card company. So hopefully I will not have to pay this charge. Boy did I learn a lesson!

Well, dumb me should have read all the complaints regarding acai pure. I did read the fine print and saw I was going to get charged an additional amount after 15 days AND you were automatically signed up for monthly shipments. I've noticed a lot of posts on this site complaining about recurring costs but the website DOES say you are automatically signed up for monthly product shipping. I'm not defending their practices as I also suckered into buying hoodia water and gum.

My complaint- I was charged 44.95$ IMMEDIATELY (not after 15 days of receiving item), no email invoice, nothing.
I've been sending emails to stop the service and they ask for an order number. Of course, like other folks, I didn't get an email order number or any other reference. It's like a black hole with no response. I just got charged last night on my credit card for another shipment. Hope I can get this stopped by January.
