Fraud
This frauds take place using different companies starting in Usa and ending in England or some asian countries; I do not understand how this is allowed by the credit card companies like Visa, Mastercard Amex and so on.
The only solution to this problem is to have a number givern by your bank to authorise ( each and every time) the credit card transaction and the transaction can take place only once and the payment is made only against cross check of that given number...why can't these credit cards companies prevent all these fraudelt activities by using solutions like the one mentioned??? These fraudelent companies are affecting the international market badly and something should be done by the local authorities.

You Can't Win!!
I ordered the Acai Pure because other Acai products had worked for me. This scam involves timing. You order the product, knowing there is a trial period. What you could very easily miss in the fine print is that you have 14 days - from the date you place the order - to return the product and not be charged. Four days after I placed the order, I got the confirmation e-mail -$4.95 charge - and notification that: "Your item(s) will be shipped and you should expect them within 8-10 business days." THAT'S 14 DAYS AND YOU HAVEN'T GOTTEN IT YET. I used the product for 2 days and realized that for some reason, my system wasn't responding well to it. When I called to try and return it (3 days after receipt), I was told I did not call within the 14-day timeframe and that MY ACCOUNT HAD ALREADY BEEN CHARGED $79.95 - plus tax!!! So good luck if you want the FREE trial.

"Free Trial" a con
15 days trial commences from shipping (can take 7 days to get product and you are then victim of "auto re-ordering" terms in the small print. Have actually tried the product with no discernible benefit, am £80 poorer and a little wiser. Have researched and found numerous complaints, a complete scam!

takingmoney
I ordered the free trial and paid $5.95 for my product. Recently i have receive an unauthorized charge on my credit card for $79.85 between june 20 to 24 and $85.90 between july 5 to 7. I have tried repeatedly to contact your customer service without sucess, they did not answer on any of my calls. I have contacted my credit card customer service for fraud of 165.75 us dollars.

This crap did not even work .But the point is i order a sample for $5.95 and it was never writting that i was going to be charged in later dates if so i would have never agreed to buying the sample .

I hope this matter would be fix soon

Unexpected Charge
I ordered a risk-free free trial of this product but apparently did not read the small print. When I realized that they were going to charge me $39.95 if I didn't return it, I returned it immediately, but still was billed $39.95, which I didn't notice until 1 month later. When I called them, I was told unless I had the tracking # for the return they could not give me full credit. Supposedly, they are giving me $20 credit, but I won't believe it til I see it. This company is a total rip-off!!! Don't buy from them!!!

Did not receive product
In December '08 I ordered a free trail of ACAI Pure as endorsed by Oprah by paying $4.95 for shipping. My credit card was charged $4.95 but I never received the product. All efforts to contact the company failed. Then my credit card company called and said there was evidence of fraud on my card. The card was cancelled.

On July 20, 2009 I had a call from a Raysayon Owens with the CCN Collection Dept. on my answering machine. When I called back (not a toll free number) he claimed that I had an outstanding balance of $39.95. They had tried to charge my cancelled credit card 3 times. I told him we did not receive the product and wanted my $4.95 back. He was suppose to e-mail me another copy of the invoice which I have not received.

THIS PRODUCT IS A SCAM! THEY DO NOT DELIVER AND ARE JUST TRYING TO GET AHOLD OF YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!

OPRAH SHOULD HAVE THE RESOURCES TO PUT A STOP TO THIS.
