Debit without permission
I order two of the 4.95 free trail offers for me and my husband. Then there was two 39.95 debits pending to come out of my checking account without my permission. I called 403-480-4212 to have it cancelled and refunded. They told me I had to wait for an email (24 Hrs) I called a few days later and then had two 44.90 debits out of my account. I called was told my account was cancelled received a cancellation # but nothing else. Told I had to wait on another email. Then a day later I received more product. I called the number on the packing list and got some help and was told that the cancellation number I had been given was not theirs. What a SCAM!!!

over billing
paid S&H for trial size. received follow up call a few days later for additional products. told caller that i would not order anything more until i had tried the product. a month later i noticed a charge for 39.95 and when i phoned was told that because i had not returned unused portion was billed for the complete shipment. company would not do anything about. i did not see any such term when i ordered the trial size.

it's a scam - beware!
The ad says: FREE 30 day supply - you pay only shipping $4.95!
When I called after two separate billings of $44.95, they said their policy is that if you don't return the unused portion within 14 days you'll be billed. And they also said that the product I received CLEARLY stated that.
I SCOURED the online confirmation before I submitted my credit card info for my 'Free Trial' and I know it wasn't there. I also know that
Then an additional bottle came about two weeks after the first which I promptly returned. They credited me $33.95. The rest, they said, was their 're-stocking fee'...
When I called to obtain a credit, I was told flat out NO. I've just looked at my confirmation email from them and it does not say anything about 'returning the unused portion within 14 days.
Also, when I opted for my 'free trial', they also signed me up for another web service (NOT even MENTIONED at time of purchase!) called Fit Factory. This comes with an automatic monthly charge of $29.95 which took forever on the phone to have removed...
BEWARE SHOPPERS & DIETERS - DO NOT BUY ONLINE!
If you're really interested in trying, it's cheaper to go to your local vitamin shop/GNC and pay their higher price as the only way you'll be charged again is if you choose to go and buy again.

Help with stopping scam
I ordered the Acai Pure online. The whole "Free Trial" jazz. Then, after purchasing, I read all the complaints and how no one could get there money back. Well, me, being in fear of my money being taken from me, I thought long and hard of a way to stop the scam for good.

1. Call your bank and report your card stolen or lost.
I know this may seem like something you may not want to do, but I think it's worth it rather than getting your money stolen by a scam company.
2. When you get your new card, it will have a whole new number on it and your other one will be canceled. This means that the company can't charge your card anymore for things you didn't order.

I'm hoping it works for some of you, please let me know if I've helped.
It was the only simple solution I could come up with, I also think it's the easiest.

was sent un ordered supplies
I too ordered one free trial of this product. they sent me 5 more products and charged my account. I sent them back after writing that I did not want them
and had not even opened the packages. I sent them back to the address they said to, and they credited my charge account less 107.70 for as they stocking charges.

How awful. the packages were not opened and the charges were more than anyone should have charged.
Most reputable companies don't charge if the package is not even opened.

address for acai pure is fulfillment center, 12399 belcher road so. su. 140, largo fl. 33773. this is the address I sent my packages to.

SCAM
I ordered the "free" trial of Acai pure. I then got a phone call telling me to confirm my subscription, I had no idea i had subscribed for something. So they gave me a number to call to unsubscribe. I then found out that even if I cancelled I would still be charged $39.99 if I did not return my free sample. This is a scam. I am sending back the sample tomorrow, I just recieved it today. I found it funny how the customer service people said I should have read the terms and conditions when they have a timer on the page saying the offer is about to expire so hurry up and order. I guess that is just another way to get people to skip the terms and conditions. Please If you are lucky enough to read this before you decide to order DO NOT ORDER ANY OF THE ACAI BERRY PRODUCTS ONLINE. I have now visited a few of the sites and they are all the same. I have a feeling even though I am sending the product back asap I will be charged.

unauthorized credit card charges/continuous shipping even after calling to cancel
order free test sample on line...$4.95 s&h. received another shipment which was returned unopened marked return to sender...then another shipment.
credit card was charged $44.90 for each which they refused to refund because the inside invoice said that the merchandise had to be returned with an authorization number and a tracking number. then they woould deduct s&h charges and 15% restocking fee from the charges.

they continued to send product after i called and cancelled claiming that they had no record of the cancelation and were abraqsive and rude on the phone.

i stil;l have not received my refund

OVERCHARGE/DECEPTIVE AD
I saw an ad about ACAI Pure endorsed by Oprah. Sounded natural and healthy...maybe for your body, but not your pocketbook. Got charged 1.95 twice, received the products. Then got charged 38.95 twice two weeks ago and have received NO ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS! Lo and behold, another charge today for 44.90...still nothing except the original shipment. The number on my bank draft is bogus. Went to the website and did connect with an operator. Said I could return the products and receive a refund. Got a confirmation number; hope it's genuine. People, let's eat less, move a little bit and the weight will go!!! STAY AWAY FROM SCAMS!
