RECEIVED PODUCTS NOT ORDERED
I ordered only the free trial od Acai Pure. I received Hoodburst gum $9.95 and Hoodiawater 1 unit $29.95. I am unable to contact the company by phone or by e-mail to get an RMA #. I am returning hese items by UPS, with return receipt. I am also contacting American Express to have the charge removed from my account

Items not requested
I went on the web to order the Acai Pure capsules that were supposedly promoted by Oprah Winfrey, and it was a free trail offer for a one month's supply for $4.95 shipping and handling. When the order arrived there was additional items in there for an additional charge of $39.90. On the form it states that these items can be returned, however, you need a return authoriaztion number to do this. So, I called their toll-free number to get this number and she (Dawn) immediately offers me a instant discount of $20.00 if I choose to keep the product. And if I wanted to return the additional items, I would be eligible for the 15% restocking fee to be waived. What a scam!!! She said that these items were on the website on the page where you input your credit card information and you have to deselect these items if you do not want them. Well I guess my complaint is why not be up front and tell the consumer that these items are recommended to work in conjunction with the Acai Pure and have them on the home page instead of hiding them on the last page with 2 yellow buttons you have to deselect and if you miss them, you will get them unknowingly. I truly advise buyers beware!!! Also, the toll free number has a wait time of up to one hour, so I waited cause it was on their dime!!!

Overcharged, unauthorized charges, lied to by representatives, hung up on by represenatives, etc...
I ordered a free trial offer of a supplement called Acai Pure. It was FREE, but I paid the shipping charges of 1.95. When I recieved my package from the company CENTRAL COAST NUTRACEUTICALS, INC.; there were 2 other products in the envelope that I DID NOT order. I checked my bank account and sure enough, they had charged me 41.85 for the supplements I did not order.
I called the company immediatley and let them know I needed to return the unordered supplements for a refund. The sales rep argued with me claiming I did order them and it took me getting angry for him to give me a RMA number for the return, he also stated that I would not be charged the usual 15% restocking fee since I was sure I didn't order them ( that took more arguing on my behalf). That day I went to the post office and returned the items with delivery confirmation added. Even after the package was recieved by the company, I did not recieve any kind of refund! I did however get a notice from my bank saying I was overdrafted by a charge from CCN for 39.95. So I dont get a refund and then they charge me another 39.95 for what? Absolutley nothing...thats stealing and fraud! So I called CCN, it took me days of calling to get a line through to a representative. When I finally got one on the phone, they said that's what they are suppose to do...charge for the free trial 1 month later. I asked how that is legal being that it was a free offer, he said he just does what hes told. I requsted a full refund for the nothing I was charged for. The rep. argued with me and finally agreed to refund 67.87 to my account, but they "dont worry about overdrafts, we are in the business to make money" I was told. So now this company has taken 81.80 from my bank and all i owed them was 1.95 shipping and they have made me pay overdraft charges because of their neglagence and bad bussines. Once I got off the phone I realized that the amount they said they would refund was less then what they owed me...so I called back.
Taking another few hours to get through, I was finally talking to a rep about the whole deal and requesting a correct refund. He said that I do have to pay a 15 % restocking fee for product even though I didnt order it, thats how they work! I told him that I was specifically told that I would not be liable for the fee as I did not order the product and I paid to send it back. He said "we dont care about the people who want refunds, they are at the bottom of our list, we are here to help the customers that want to order more products"!! What is that, not customer service. When I said I wanted to talk to a manger, he said they are never available to customers and he hung up on me! This company cost me money, issues with my bank account, lots of time, and I was treated like dirt. I have nothing to show for the loss that i have now...this company is out to steal your money and then sneak in a month later and do it agian just because they have your credit card number form the shipping charge, they hope you don't notice and if you do you wont get it all back anyway. This is wrong and they should be shut down!
