Charges on card
You say you get a free trial and you have 15 days to decide. The holidays were just here-Christmas and New Years and you were closed on these holidays-how has it been 15 days including the holidays. This company is a rip off and they charge you 89.97 for 60 pills claiming this is a month's supply. What a hoax and unfair greedy company this Acai Slim is!

Unauthorized orders shipped
I requested the trial offer of the Acai Slim product which was to billed to my account
$1.00 plus $4.95 shipping. I was to cancel the next order within 14 days, but in the meantime I was shipped two more bottles at a cost of 39.99 plus 9.99 shipping. I hadn't had enough time to evaluate the product and I did not want to receive monthly supplies.
I now find that my account has been charged $80.00 for something I didn't ask for. This is a rip-off and an unfair practice. I'm sending back the two bottles that I didn't ask for eventhough it states that a refund can't be given after they are sent. I'm not going to be forced to keep something that I didn't order and haven't decided if it works or not.
I want the amount deducted from my account when these bottles are returned. It seems that many others have also been caught in this scam and something should be done.

Charged for 2 bottles which I never authorized in purchasing
I never spoke with anyone about this product when I ordered the free trial. I just had to pay the shipping and handling. Now I have received 2 bottles and my account has been charged $80.00 plus tax. I cannot use the product for it makes my heart race. I am returning the product and demand a full refund. 12/30/2008. Christine Shectman

UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD
I ORDEDERD A FREE SAMPLE OF ACAI SLIM. I RECIEVED MY SAMPLE THEN EMAILED THE COMPANY TO CANCELL MY MEMBERSHIP. I NEVER AUTHORIZED THEM TO CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD. I DO NOT WANT THE PRODUCT. WHEN I SPOKE WITH THEM THEY TOLD ME THEY NEVER GOT MY EMAIL. I AM SENDING THE PILLS BACK THEY DO NOT WORK. I WILL CALL MY C/C COMPANY NOT TO PAY. MY HUSBAND IS AN ATTORNEY AND HE WILL HANDLE THIS.I AM VERY UNHAPPY WITH YOUR PRODUCT. WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION! PLEASE REMOVE ALL CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD IMMEDIETLY!!!

Fraud
They are totally full of b.s. You will have to cancel the card that you placed the order on. I tried no less than 10 times to contact this company to cancel, each time, I was placed on hold until I hung up, or was told I could not connect due to a block on my phone.
The product does not work, I am a gym person, 5-7 days a week and needed a boost. This company is not worth the time or effort that you will eventually put in to it.

Misrepresentation
Like others I have recently read about, I signed up for the free 14 day trail offer for Acaislim and unknowingly also signed up for Powertea and Fit Factory. All of these were charged to my card without my knowledge. When I called the 800 numbers shown on the charges I was informed that I had signed up for these services and they were charged because I did not cancel them within the allotted time. Now I'm not sure what or who else they shared my card info with. This should definitely be listed under fraudulent practices.

unauthorized withdraw from account
I am very upset that I had $79.95 withdrawn from my checking account with my visa card without my permission, it caused me to be overdrawn on my account and I got charged overage charges I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MY $79.95 PUT BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! I expect to see my money in there by friday. My phone number is (575) 491-1874. I am still overdrawn and getting charged by the day.

sneaky way of doing business
All I wanted was the sample, was happy to pay s&h for that. Just as I clicked the send button I saw the fine print that said I was going to be billed monthly. Luckily the company called me to confirm the order, so I got their phone number. Was able to get through today after a long wait and cancel the order. Might have to get new credit card. The number is 877-317-0189 for anyone who wants to cancel their "free" sample and on going monthly order from Acai slim.
