Received E-Mail from Acai Vitaboost for trial of their product for cost of shipping. Found out that I was charged $149.95 on my credit card. I called the companay and was told that I should have read the terms and conditions at the bottom of the E-Mail. (SIX PAGES) She stated that I would have to use the 2 months supply that they were sending me and then purchase another 2 months supply and use 1 month of that order then I would get a coupon for the next 2 months. I told her that I did not want the product but she said that there were no refunds. I then told her that Acai Vitaboost took me for $149.95 and to cancel any future orders and I was not going to give you anymore money.
I ordered this product Dec. 25, 2010, now it is Feb. 14, 2011 and I don't have my pills nor have returned my money. Their terms state that you may not cancel orders that have already been billed and shipped. They have billed me but they sure have not shipped the pills yet. Seeing that they have not been shipped yet I want my money back. Trying to get them on the phone has been useless. You would think if they were a good company that someware in the six pages of TERMS AND CONDITIONS they would have a good telephone number where they could be reached.

The FREE Trial - pay only 1.95 is a lie!. although before you hit the button to charge your credit card for the small fee of 1.95 which will appear in their TOTAL line... your credit card will be charged $149.95. Once I realized this charge I called my bank to see if they could stop it they could not. It had already been taken. I then asked my bank if they had a number to the people who charged me since no number appears on the site and they did. We did a 3 way and they were rude. They said they can not return the money and it would be their discretion if they choose to reimburse all or ANY of the money if I chose to return the product. I asked for a supervisor or manager with my bank on the phone and ( YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS !) The manager who said his name was TOM when he got on the phone. ALL I got a chance to say was Hello Tom before I could say another word.. Tom interrupted me and said in a stern voice. The Customer Rep you are working with has been with the company for a long time and I believe she is doing her best to assist you. There is no need to speak to anyone other than her!) then he hung up. WE asked to speak to him again and the Rep said he was gone for the day. THE BANK NOR I COULD BELEIVE WHAT HAD JUST HAPPENED! The Manager Never gave me or my bank time to speak other than HEllO. My bank then read the find print on the phone to me while I was speaking to the Customer Serv REp.. IT READS: ACAI VITABOOST will charge you more money if you try to stop the next payment or any future payments. They will also charge you money if you send in a dispute on them and IF YOU LOOSE you will be charged for the money ACAIVITABOOST has incurred handling your dispute. ( I COULD NOT BELIEVE THIS!! ) I cancelled the card completely with no intentions on them having any more ties to my account. My bank then told me it would not be work disputing it because the chances are if ACAI VITABOOST decides they want to reimburse you, the amount reimbursed is on their discretion! I AM UPSET.. TODAY. MAKES 2 weeks I have been waiting for this so called product that They were suppose to charge me 1.95 for but charged me 149.95. I have not received it yet! I will give it a few more days then I will call my bank again to fight it. If it comes... I swear since I AM BEING FORCED TO KEEP IT! I pray it works or I will take on a second job and that is working hard to tell everyone about this scam and to avoid it!
