spam
I was sent to this site as it was represented on an ad from craigs list as a weithtloss study with acai x3 and ever since have recieved alot of spam and telemarketers calling me. This cannot be a very reputable company if they immediately sell you information to all these marketing companies and don't even ask permission. Now I have to put up with this annoying stuff and constantly keep telling these companies not to contact me. I feel I have been taken advantage of and hope this can be stopped.

Free Sample Scam
Ordered a "free sample" and agreed to pay shipping/handling of $3.95. They charged my credit card $87.13. I called the toll free number dozens of time and was always left on hold. The customer support web-site required me to enter my credit card number again, which I declined to do. With help from my credit card company, we finally reached a representative who stated that I should have canceled the product order (before I received the product), to avoid the charge. I have returned their "free sample" and am disputing the charges through my credit card company. This is a scam, a rip off. And, it appears that it is operating under different names and in other states (Texas). If you want to buy Acai - go to your health food store and purchase it. It won't cost you anywhere near this much money or grief, and you can be assured that it is the real product. DON"T order a FREE SAMPLE! It's a SCAM

Unable to get refund
Ordered product on a 14-day trail period. Was billed full price for the product before I received it. Has spoken to three different customer service reps in attempting to get my refund only to be told that it was being processed each time. They acknowleged receiving the returned product which I had to send back via "Delivery Confirmation" USPS service at an additional cost. Now when you call the number you are told that no one is available. TRULY A RIP OFF.

No Refund, Difficult to Cancel
Thanks for the helpful phone numbers from other users. 866-951-1393 is the right number. 866-949-0138 didn't do me much good. When calling -1393 I was able to get someone to cancel my account, and received a cancellation code in the format: MMDDYY-??????? where MM/DD/YY = today's date, 070909 (7/9/09). I then called back and got a second person to lookup my account and read me the cancellation number in their records to be sure I wasn't getting a fake number.
Now, when I tried to exercise the refund policy in the terms & conditions, I was hung up on each and every time I pushed the policy (3 different calls0. If you go to www.acaix3.com (it will redirect you to a www.processcartcenter.com website) scroll to the bottom and click "terms and conditions" link. There is a refund policy that says you can cancel any orders within 30 days. The way the language reads, it is likely in the first 30 days of your ORIGINAL order. So if you are like me, I had used 1 bottle, and tried returning the two bottles that arrived subsequently (one of them after sending an email to [email protected] which is the instruction in the T&C). I assumed since I was charged on 6/25, and today was 7/9, that it was less than 30 days and I could return at least 1 of the bottles. Every time I pushed that, they hung up. I guess I'm out $180. Maybe I can sell them on eBay.
Good luck to you all, and stay clear of this company! Always be weary of "just pay shipping to get started" ... they want you to pay shipping so they can get your credit card number and start the auto-billing!

Acai X3 Scam Contact Info and How to Get Your Money Refunded Back to you!
Yes I will show you how to get your money refunded back to you! Read the following. I know it's a bit to read, but I wanted to go into detail so that everybody can get their money back.
This guy is a true scam artist! From what I've read through the complaints on this guy, I can see that he is starting up a web page for one business and closing it before it catches up to him and then starts a new web page with all new information all over again, yet with the same tactics. Most people are unaware that anything you purchase online using a credit/debit card is fully 100% covered by your bank as long as it has the VISA logo on it. I will continue on this more later.
Unlike many others, I was lucky enough to have a phone number available in my online banking to get in contact with these people. This is the number to contact Acai X3 and get your refund process started: 1-800-872-2657 As difficult as it may be to remain calm, you will be on hold for as long as 15 minutes. I called twice; a 2nd time to verify their return address which you can see below. Once you get in contact with a customer service rep, start off by canceling your account. Make sure that this is clearly done as both of the representatives I talked to were very difficult to understand. I went as far as repeating everything they told me and then had them confirm it.
Then you need to demand that they refund your money. They will tell you to return the unused portion of your caffeine and red dye pills before they can do this. There is no way around this as far as I can tell unless there is some sketchy circumstances involving never receiving your "FREE" bottle of junk and then I'm sure any decent bank will work with you on that. However, assuming you did receive your bottle, you will need to get an RMA(Return Merchandise Authorization) number from them. Be sure that you have them repeat it a couple times! Save this number so that you can share it with your bank.
Once you have your RMA#, send the bottle back to them using some method of tracking or delivery confirmation. I like USPS Click-n-Ship. It's fast and easy to print out a shipping label from home and then tape over it onto the package to protect it. Priority Mail is $4.80 with delivery confirmation. You can even set it up so that you get notified upon delivery. Save your delivery confirmation/tracking number so that you can share it with your bank. Make sure you circle/highlight, or in some way write your RMA number on the return label. I set up the return shipping address label as the name "Acai X3 RMA 9999999-9999999" and then highlighted it on the printed return label. I also wrote this number on a piece of masking tape and taped it to the bottle inside the package.
Make sure you return at least 30 of the 60 pills as I'm sure they will fight your bank on a refund otherwise. The reason for this is that they are claiming we signed up for a 14 day trial while they send us a 30 day supply. Yep, that is the scam! It would be a good idea to explain to your bank the fact that you never got any of the "fine print" information until after you have given your credit card number. I know I didn't, or I never would have ordered it. I'll go into this more later.
Finally, contact your bank and report fraud on your account. Give them the your RMA and Delivery Confirmation numbers. My Bank(US Bank) immediately recognized the suspicious charge and said it would be taken care of. Most respectable banks will also waive any overdraft charges as a courtesy, especially under these circumstances. Just be sure to talk to your bank customer service rep respectfully. Remember they are not the ones that scammed you. From here on out, you can rest assured that your money will be safely returned to your account. My bank told me that my refund will show back up within 10 days regardless of whether or not Acai X3 fights them on it.
Although it is highly unlikely, if your bank gives you the run-around, contact VISA directly. They put their logo on that card for a reason.
I have to mention that the thing that ticked me off more than anything on this is the fact that they sold my email address. I hope this helps some of you!

still disputing them ripping me off
i originally ordered this stuff back in april it took forever to get the product that i actually forgot that i ordered it. So then i notice this charge to my account hi took it to my bank to dispute said there was nothing they could do. So i went on the hunt to try to find a number to reach these scam artist's. Normally you can locate the contact # from your bank statment but it wasn't a whole number. So that is when i located this site when ready through all the similar complaints someone actually located & posted a # 866-951-1393. which is actually a good number for ACAI x3 they only answer the phone as customer service and are very suspicious. i called cancelled and at the point they said the product was just shipped the day before that i had to wait for the product to come then ship it back to them in order to get a refund. so i did it took like 10-15 days for me to get the product i shipped it back & called a week later they stated they didn't get it to get my tracking # so i did and called back they then said that it would take 30 days to get a refund. so i waited NOTHING ever happened . i called at the end of 30 days they said there was some problem they would expedite the refund should take 7-10 days. AGAIN waited no refund so i called again said error in processing will take another 7-10 days ... called again today same story but was back up to another 30 days. THIS SCAM MUST STOP, IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO STOP THIS PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THERE WAS OVER 133 COMPLAINTS WHEN I LOOKED UP THIS SITE. that's just crazy that they get away with this!!!
