I think we as consumers should take hold of the control that is rightfully ours when EVERY service provider in the world depends on us for there existence!!
Although not the most devastating scam of all time, the "free trial" of Acai Advanced has me thinking... Is there no one left to trust? A simple "free trial" of a product should not lead to unauthorized credit card charges (and inevitably cancellation of the credit card), misleading terms and conditions of service, unresponsive customer service representatives, and a product that doesn't even work!
I honestly believe that consumers can have more control and be better protected by contacting the ones who back these products and the companies who falsely advertise them.
Oprah, Dr. Oz, Rachel Ray, ABC, CBS, Today and CNN all have advertised this product!!
Don't you think that their reputations depend on the people who watch their shows and who trust their opinions and the information they provide?!! Perhaps they do not know their shows are being advertised on acaiadvanced.com as being in full support of the product. Maybe if enough people contacted these respected and trusted information providers with their stories of being virtually scammed, (by any of the misleading services/products they advertise) they would take into more consideration who/what they support so they, themselves won't be scammed.
I don't envy those who have an obligation to millions of people because they are held in such high regard, but it IS their responsibility to keep us all accurately informed. After all, why would we need talk shows or news programs if we cannot trust their information as viewers and consumers?

Trying to get your money back is a big joke. The 15 day trial starts the day you place the order. I only had 5 days left when I received it. they also sneak in a service called Live Lean a consulting service that you can't get a refund on either .I couldn't get an RMA because I couldn't get anyone to get on from. So I sent the remaining bottle back. I thenreceived an auto shipment order that I refused and sent back. They told my credit card company that there are no credits for auto shipment. I also called to try and cancel in the alloted time again no answer, so I e-mailed an cancellation, no reply. This company that charged my account for this is called VYTALIS an company that sells male enhancement products? I'm fighting with my credit card company now over this. they are definitely a bunch of scam artists. I think Dr. OZ and Oprah ought to reimburse us all.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND PRODUCT! IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM. THE COMPANY ENGAGES IN DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING. I FOUND THE PRODUCT COMPLETELY INEFFECTIVE. THE COMPANY CLAIMS TO GIVE THE CONSUMER A 15-DAY FREE TRIAL PERIOD, BUT I DISCOVERED THEY HAVE NO INTENTION OF HONORING THIS PROMOTION. WHEN I TRIED TO RETURN THE ITEM WITHIN THE 15-DAY PERIOD, I WAS TOLD THE 15-DAYS BEGAN WHEN IT WAS ORDERED. THIS IS A DISHONORABLE ENTERPRISE.

Tried to call to cancel and also dispute extra activity on credit card and you can't talk to any one . you get recording tells you to go to support acai advanced cs. tried that and can't find which one to contact.

I ordered this product via internet. It was offering FREE trial just pay shipping & handling. After they have billed for shipping & handling they immediately billed for the product that was supposed to be FREE. They also recommend to order their sister product Colon Cleanse another FREE trial offer Just pay shipping & handling. Same results. They billed in the same manner as the acai advanced. THEN they keep billing the credit card for other products. This company cannot be contacted because they do not have an e-mail address. Customer Service listed on their ad is non existence. Basically this is a scam and we cannot get the charges erased from the credit card..
