non authorized charges
I signed up for a free trial size of Acai Berry and paid shipping and handling for appx $4. About a month later I received my credit card statement showing 2 charges for $79.95 and one for $29.95 all for Acaiaslim. I called my credit card company and they said they have had many complaints against this company. They told me the fine print states if I had returned the "free" sample within 14 days I would not have been charged. By keeping the product it apparently is their green light to keep charging me and sending more product. I'm currently fighting those charges and have returned any additional shipments. I have also cancelled my membership with Acaiaslim which I didn't even know I had.

Unauthorized billing
I heard about this product, Acaiaslim, and that you could receive a free bottle and pay just 4.99 for postage. I placed an order for a bottle. When I received my Discover card I found I was charged $79.95 for this product. I called the office at 877-317-0189. I believe the person I talked to was named Connie. She explained the free trial offer was limited to a certain number of days. Then you would be charged the full price for the bottle. I asked her where it said that. She told me to look under terms. This information was not anywhere near the place where you ordered the product. It was also in very small print. I immediately went to their web site to make sure I canceled any further bottles.
Today, Jan.21, I received another bottle and had my Discover card charged another $79.95. I notified Discover Card that I did not want to pay for this item. I have not heard from Discover Card yet. I noticed many places on the web where people talked about this being a scam. I do not want any more to do with this company. I will contact our TV station if I need to. They have a person who helps people with situations like this.
I will call the company tomorrow and see what they say about this.

Unauthorized billing
I ordered a trial sample of acaia-slim diet pills. I was instructed to give the usual information-name, address, credit card#. When I clicked on 'submit order' it indicated that my credit card would be charged $4.95 to cover the shipping & handling. This was advertised as a free trial and that you only have to cover the shipping.
I tried the product and found that it did nothing for me. Two weeks later they charged me $79.95. I never agreed to this and when I tried to contact the company several times I got a busy signal or no answer. I finally reached someone at the company who was very rude and stated that they would not refund my money, as this was in the agreement for the free trial. The woman told me that I had 14 days to cancel. While I did not know this at the time, I did in fact cancel via email at day 12. She still refused to credit my account. The terms of the agreement were not clearly listed and this company is a fraud. People need to contact the BBB and complain...
I immediately called my credit card company only to find that not only had they charged me $79.95 for the second bottle but also for the first bottle that was supposed to be $4.99. I have filed a dispute.

Unauthorized monthly charges
I ordered Acaiaslim on the internet. The offer was for a free trial with a small fee for shipping. I got the pills, but they do not work for weight loss. A month later I got another bottle and just thought it was a mistake until I got my credit card bill. The next thing I know I got another bottle just a few weeks after the first one. I called the company and after some fussing and feuding received a refund for both charges of $79.99 each. In a period of LESS than 2 months -- this company had charged my credit card $159.98. What a rip off... who would actually agree to pay that much for 2 bottles of diet pills unless medically necessary. This company is committing FRAUD and should be shut down immediately!

duplicate charges and wrong product
I ordered the Tea, received my first shipment and it was fine. But then I also received the pills that I did not order. The second month they send me again the pills but not the tea. When I checked my January statement I was charged two times for the pills (79.95 twice). I called the costumer service to ask regarding my order.
While holding I kept getting a message to use the website (info.com I forget the exact name). When I checked
The site it was asking me for my social security number and other info. I closed the window.
After being on hold for almost one hour, I was helped by a very rude person. I told him I did not order the pills, only the tea. He said he will reimburse me for the for one charge but not the other. I told him that I did not order the pills only the tea and I am sending it back. He said he does not care if I am sending it back, because he still will not give me my money back. I asked for a mailing address. He only gave it to me after repeated requests. Here is the address he did give me: 92278 South Lohnpeak Park, Praper 84020 Utah.

charging for product not received
Ordered free trail and received the free trail in mail. Automatically charged 79.95 12/1/08 and 12/17/08 to my credit card. The website appears to have a cancel my order but will not permit to complete the cancellation. The only way to reach this company is via phone during business hours with very long waits. Due to my hours I can not sit on the phone for long peroids of time. I will have to cancel my credit card to prevent further charges. This is a scam.
