Lack of valid information/rude customer service
I signed up over the internet for this "free" trial. I did read that I had 14 days to cancel my order or my credit card will be charged. However, they also sign you up with a company called Fit Factory that will also charge your card a monthly fee if you don't cancel with them in 14 days. I started to receive a ton of junk mail all of sudden from all types of companies, but no actual e-mail from the Acaiaslim company itself (not even a confirmation e-mail). When the product arrived, no company information was included.
So although I cancelled with Fit Factory, Acaiaslim charged my card $80. I had to google the company name on my credit card statement to find their phone number (However I called Acaislim first -- as I missed the second "a" in the name). When I spoke to the customer service agent, I also complained about the lack of information and for giving my e-mail to anyone and everyone. I was rudely told that apparently I didn't know how to read "Terms and Conditions".
This company is shady. Stay away!

Unauthorized billing
I had ordered a sample of diet pills and had charged to my credit card $4.99. I just received an other bottle and received at same time billing from my credit card company showing charge of $79.95 paid to DRI*AcaiaSlim at Tel. # 877-317-0189 MN. I did not order any other than the sample bottle.
I have not tried either phone number yet or contacted my credit card company but will do so after completing this report.

UN AUTHORIZIED CHARGES
I TOO THOUGHT I WAS ONLY GOING TO PAY THE 5.26 CHARGE FOR THE 14 DAY TRIAL...NOW I'M LOOKING AT MY DECEMBER CHECKING ACT STATEMENT AND THEY CHARGED ME 2 TIMES $85!!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT...THEY'RE RIPPING ALL OF US OFF...AND HOW ARE WE SUPPOSE TO GET THAT $85 / MONTH CHARGE BACK!!!

overcharge
I ordered a "free" bottle of Acaiaslim and was supposed to be charged for only shipping of 4.99 (may have been 5.99). I just discovered they charged my credit cart 79.95 for, I guess, additional supplements. I will be contacting the company to hopefully get the charges taken off.

fraudulent charges
I agree with the scam. Acaiaslim charged my account $79.95 and then fit-fac charged me a few days later for $19.95. I'd never heard of Fit-Fac before seeing that charge and I just happened to stumble onto the complaints website! And don't bother trying to email them asking about the charges, they won't answer you. I'm going to try calling, but after reading others comments, I fear they will not make it easy. I've already contacted my bank to stop activity from both. I suggest any one caught in this scam do the same if for nothing else, peace of mind they can't charge any more!

Billing
I asked for a free sample for one month and did not like it. I received another supply without request and was billed on my credit card. What can I do to stop this from happening again. I cannot get ahold of anyone at this company.

SCAM
I agreed to a free trial of acaiaslim and then discovered a $79 charge on my credit card. I only agreed to a 14 day trial for which I was expected to pay only shipping. This is outrageous. I have read in these complaints that the terms and conditions may have stated that if the trial was not cancelled that the consumer would then be billed monthly. Even if this is so it is complete false advertising and entrapment. There is no invoice in the package I received and I do not know how to contact the company. I cannot even find the original website. This is bad business and a total scam!!!

Unauthorized billing
I ordered a trial sample of acaia-slim diet pills. I was instructed to give the usual information-name, address, credit card#. When I clicked on 'submit order' it indicated that my credit card would be charged $4.99 to cover the shipping & handling. There was not any information on the website about how to order more if needed, a phone number of the company or how to contact the company.
A couple of weeks later I was charged another $79.95 and haven't received anything in addition. I have tried to contact the company but just receive a 'busy' signal or a message saying all lines are in use to try and call back later.
I am going to file a dispute with the credit company and/or have my account canceled. This is absolutely ridiculous, no where did it say that I would be automatically charged for anything. I encourage all of you to contact the BBB in regards to this company.

Diet Pills
On or about 11/19/08, I ordered a trial size of AcaiaSlim on line for a shipping and handling charge only. I received one bottle & my credit card was charged the $4.95 shipping and handling on 11/19/08. However in December, my credit card was charged twice for $79.95, once on 12/04/08 and once on 12/20/08 unuathorized be me. In calling DRI AcaiaSlim Minnesota several times, in an attempt to get the charges reversed, I was put on terminal hold, with an option of emailing them at info.verifyyourorder.com, which they did not respond to.
