fradulent advertising illegal payment
I called to purchase this online product which was listed as having a trial product evaluation period of 14 days.
All I had to pay was shipping and handling. The s/h fees were taken out of my account 6/22/10. I received the product 6/29/2010. I was not satisfied with the product. It did nothing that it stated it was supposed to do. The Acai optimum increased my hunger and the Advanced colon caused sever stomach cramping. I called on July 4th to cancel the product and to ask for a refund because the 80.62/product was already taken out of my account prior to the 14 day evaluation period and usage. I was denied a refund.
I consider this false and misleading advertizing and literally extortion of money out of my account.
The first customer representative I spoke to could not help me and when I asked to speak to a manager she told me the manager does not take calls and then she hung up on me.
I called back, the 2nd representative could not help me and then put me on hold for a while to speak to a manager who also could not help me.
This company is a falsity and takes advavntage of individuals who are concerned about their health and looking for reputable companies with nutrtional products that actually do not do what the company states they will do.
This company should be held liable and I will continue to seek further legal justice.

SCAM/Money taken without knowledge
I bought a so called FREE TRIAL for the acai optimum and colon cleanse.
Too good be true?
WELL IT IS!!
After ringing them to cancel, they duly gave me my cancellation codes and address where to send them (in the UK) and said I had 30 days to return the products.
Fine, I said, I will send back 1st class recorded delivery. I am well within my 30 day period and they will get them in no time.
How hard could that have been? (or so I thought)
Weeks and weeks went by and I didn't even give a second thought to anything to do with these products.

HOWEVER, over a month later, I see a charge on my account for £104.

There are several so called 'numbers' to ring their customer services.
DON'T RING 00800 8655 8655, when I spoke to 'Michael 023' and told him what has happened, he pretended he couldn't hear me very well and that I should call back in 5 minutes.
5 minutes?!?! from the same land-line through to the same number? and miraculously we will hear each other will we?!

I then found the number I rang to cancel the products ... 080 8238 9891.
I went through the same story again, this time with someone called 'Mike', and then he asked me to hold and then put the phone down on me.

By this time, I was getting FURIOUS, but, as ever, kept a cool head and thought, give it one more go.

So, I rang 080 8238 9891 again and this time, I got Marion.
Thank god I thought. Someone not pretending to be someone called Michael (023)!!
Marion was very polite. However, she told me that they never received the products I returned, hence that is why I was charged.
Didn't receive them?! but I sent them 1st class recorded delivery well within the time limit of 30 days return money back GUARANTEE?!
OH NO, she said. If we do not receive them, REGARDLESS of you sending them back, you will still be charged.
Ah, that old chestnut.
She then went on to say when I cancelled I was given the option of a speedy cancellation, which is correct, I was offered this service. But I declined as it would cost £19.99.
However, what they failed to mention at the time I cancelled is that this £19.99 charge for 'speedy cancellation' would mean that I can either keep the product or send them back. And regardless of whether they receive them or not, they will never charge me (apart from the £19.99 of course). WELL NOOOOO. Hang on, he never mentioned that. Faced with either £104 charge or £19.99 charge, I know which one I would have gone for.
I asked her as politely as possible whether they would reimburse their mistake and Marion said NO. It says whether they receive them or not THEY WILL CHARGE REGARDLESS.

To all those people out there wanting to take this up. Please DON'T.
THEY ARE A SCAM - they pretend not to receive the products back so that they can bill you for them and of course, they have the products in their greasy slimy mitts!!
