On Aug. 20, 2010. I placed an order for a free trial of a diet supplement through the internet from the acaioptimum. com. The advertisement only indicates that the charges for the product was $4.95 shipping charge. There was no information or explanation that stated that I would be signing into a program or subscribing to a plan that cost $99.96 until you have place the order and provided the credit card number.

After realizing that this was a scam, I immediately canceled the order. Customer services provided me with a cancellation number, which is 4612668.

On Friday Aug. 27 after returning home from a trip, I found a package in my mailbox. Upon checking my credit card balance I found the $99.96 charge to my credit card. I contacted the company and they were unwilling to credit my credit card for the chargers. The were very rude and told that it was my fault for signing on to the lose weight program. I have looked over their advertisement and can not fine any information regarding the lose weight program. On September 2 I again contacted the company to get a return authorization form . I spoke to a customer service person name “Christine” who have a heavy accent which makes me doubt that her real name is Christine.

She told me that I did not have to return the merchandise since my credit card has already been charge for the merchandise. After explaining to her that the order was canceled and they should had never shipped the product
She the said that she was going to transfer me to her supervisor and than hang up. This problem has cause a great amount of stress not to mention the time I spent at phone with them and my credit card company trying to correct the situation. I believe this company owes me full refund of my money plus compensation for all the frustration and stress that they have intentionally cause me. Any assistance to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
