How can an elderly previously independent woman be overdosed with morphine in a hospital setting, then need support even for for her personal cares because of the extent of the physical collapse following the overdose be assessed and thanks to 2 doctors have the ACC exonerated from being accountable for her care.
The same woman died 5 weeks after having a fall, again in a hospital because a nurse was just looking at her instead of physically supporting her, what I'd been trying to tell the ACC for the last 5 years. Where's the justice in all of this. I wasn't contacted by the hospital following the fall, and when I asked the hospital to inform the ACC I was told they would, it was even written on the discharge notes, but no they didn't.
Again where's the justice?
So doctors and nurses carry on with their lives and families are left to their own devices, how disgraceful
