Credit Card Thief, Fraud
I never ordered this stuff and yet my husband keeps getting phone calls to confirm our order. He called and they claimed they didn't have any order when searching his name or mine. Today they called again while I was home, he had me answer it. I was shocked to find out they had his credit card number, but an old address and a fake email gmail address. We both have been very careful to NOT give them any info on us like email address or home address. I handed the phone to husband telling him that they had his creditcard info and our old address. He spoke with the person who all they want to do is give you a number to call, he declined because he had already gone that route. He was either offered or asked to speak with a supervisor. After 5 minutes on hold he spoke with a manager, repeating last weeks conversation that it was suppose to be marked fraud at this point he threatened to contact the attorney general and the manager then assured him it would be marked as fraud. Do we believe them? NO, what we think was they used this company to test the creditcard info and once they saw shipped they could then use the card number for a larger purchase online. Another odd thing is we signed into our Gmail acct. and did a broad search of acia it only brought up emails that were labeled AMAZON. I have my preferences set to sort and add labels in my Gmail from certain addresses, so at some point it did come though amazon to me. I was very disappointed and signed into amazon and removed my information. End result: We will cancel our card and all online accounts that have any personal information with our credit card number. .
