Ordered the Acia Topic Berry free trial for 1.95 and 14 days later ended up with an 88.74 charge on my account from berry tropic with the phone number 8773312511. I called that number and talked to someone in the cancellation department. And after about an hour of hageling was able to get the lady on the phone to give me a 74.00 credit. She couldn't give me the full refund because of some type of restocking fee which I didn't understand. But when I realized that I was getting nowhere else, I greed to take the 74.00 credit and it would take 10 to 14 business days to go thru. After that period had passed there was still no refund on my card. When I tried calling be 8773312511 number, I got a voice mailbox that was full. I then decieded to go thru my credit card company. My credit card company denied my dispute and wanted me to write them a letter why I was disputing it. Before I did that though I called the 877 number again and again got the voice mail box that was full. I then went online and did a search for acia berry and found this website and found another number the 8889478745 number. When I got thru I verified that it was the same number by asking them if I had an account there and after giving them my name the lady brought up my accout. She told me that there was no record of me calling before and that my account had not been cancelled and that all she could do is cancel and assure me that no other charges would show up. After about 30 to 45 minutes she agreed to give me back 35.00 if and only if I return the product. I hagled with her even more and had this website infront of me the entire time. I would read to hear some of the complaints that would lead me to believe that this was a scam. I didn't use any vulgar language but was very very stern. I ask to speak to a supervisor and she put me on hold for, in her words, 1 to 2 minutes. After that time she would come back and try to talk me into the 35.00 and when I didnt agree and wanted to speak to the supervisor she told me again 1 to 2 minutes. This went on for about an hour, til eventually I wouldnt let her get a word in edgewise. I let her know that the only thing I wanted to hear from her mouth was here is your full refund or here is my supervisor. After being on the phone with the supervisor for maybe 5 minutes she agreed to give me 75.00. She told me she didnt have the confermation number because it couldnt be generated there and that I would be recieving an email in the next 24 hours with the conformation number for my refund that would process in 10 to 14 days. I just got off the phone with them and if I dont get that email tomorrow I will be calling back. I have the supposed names of the person I was talking to and the supervisor. After I get my refund I will be cancelling my credit card so that they dont charge me again under another name. If you want the acai berry tropic you are better off going to the store and buying it.
