On 13 Sep 2008, went to nearby Acupuncture for my swollen nerve on my neck to the above mentioned place. There was nobody there except a customer waiting for his turn. I called anybody could help, and a lady appeared. I asked her whether she could speak in Chinese as norm, and she asked why the matter.
Told her my neck giving me pain and swollen, immediately she told me to go and see a doctor and find out why is it so. Told her that I have gone to acupuncture before for this problem at this shop but from different lady.
To my surprise, she told me in sarcastic way maybe you should go to the previous Acupunturist and added that she has moved to Jurong, I already knew the details. Told her that this is convenience for me to come here and do as I have this problem every now and then. Again she told me there is only one MRT stop to Jurong East for me to go and visit the previous Acupunturist. I understand that every Chinese physician has the right to examine the patient whoever came and visit. And she kept telling me not to come here as this is my first visit to the new shop.
I am asking why she must refer me to a doctor and along the way she is very sarcastic. Isn't it her job to find out what is wrong rather push away customer and give reasons? She is doing a doctor's job and her profession regards highly character but then the treatment I received from her was snobbish, or is so an Indian cannot patronise the shop attitude. The previous Acupuncturist was opposite of her attitude, can give a Wow for her.
