I would suggest NEVER renting an apartment here. While the complex grounds and apartments do look nice, they are shoddily built and not well maintained. We had several maintenance issues while renting for one year: a leak from the apartment above us that left a giant stain on our living room wall that was never corrected; mold in the master bathroom that appeared within the first month of our rental that Lysol would not take care of; the cabinet doors in our kitchen repeatedly fell off; the water heater above us was drained ONTO OUR PORCH and the rusty, disgusting water stained the concrete; there was an issue with the air conditioning pipes that produced a sound like somebody constantly roller skating on our ceiling that was not corrected for over two weeks; there were mice and giant carpenter ants.

The management was also HORRIBLE. The office manager, Stacy, was rude and unpleasant. Three days before our initial move-in date we were informed that we couldn't move in because the man previously renting the apartment never moved out. At this point our lease for where we were in New Hampshire was up and we had to go "couch surfing, " and Stacy told us to rent a hotel room or something. We also had disrespectful neighbors who would throw loud parties until 2 a.m. in the pool area and leave their empty bottles, cups, etc. everywhere, and someone stole my son's car seat out of my car. My car was also mistakenly towed from the parking lot in the middle of the night and we had to pay $300 to get it out of the tow lot. We were told we couldn't be reimbursed, but were offered a carport free of charge. The office then later gave this away without informing us. I left a note on the car that was parked in my carport not knowing this and was sent a nasty letter from the office telling me I had no right to contact other residents like that, especially since the carport was no longer mine. When we moved out in the middle of a snowstorm, we left our dog in the apartment for a day/night (we still had a week left to the lease) and Stacy called us saying that she was going to call animal control because we abandoned our dog...and I haven't even mentioned that we had to pay $1400 for an apartment that was physically located in North Andover, MA, but had a Lawrence address because, we were told, North Andover post office couldn't take on the additional mailboxes...

Sorry this is long, but living at Addison was hell. I would suggest people stay far away from this place.
