My PNR no is 7171402, Myself Vijay Kumar Shilpkar was supposed to fly from Mumbai to Kandla on date 23.04.2008 boarding tim - 04.45am, before getting boarding pass i have gone through the security check ( by deccan employee at Mumbai airport only) where the checkins inspector on screening has asked me to open my luguage ( total 02 nos of luggage was there for security checks) as he said there is something in metal forms ( Inside the sports bag), I Opened it and shown him its was Sony erricson handsets
( without sim card), and seen by all the deccan security screening peoples & same time i put the same inside the bag and kept near to my leather belt, checking inspector came to me and put his hand inside the bag and told me oh its Planner diary and its metal pasted on it anyway its ok, then other peoples with security has put their sticker and locked both of its chain with plastic seal ( PATRO BAND PAT PEND), I have taken the bags to counter and handover those two bags to counter lady for cargo baggage, I landed down at Kandla on 23.04.08 around 0630 hrs and taken both of my lugguage to my company guest house, after getting ready for office I opened the seal and got socked, THAT SONY ERRICSON ( TOUCH SCREE ) HANDSET WORTH RS.18000/- APPROX. IS LOST FROM MY BAG, Now you confirm me whose the fault it is being getting sealed baggauge.
I write this complain with an impression to keep myself always untrustworty to Deccan employee, which force me not to keep anything ( Valueable items ) inside the baggage as it could get stolen anytime from anywhere.
I expect the higher Management to reply me at the earliest with an impression either to get back the same handset by investingating those people or reimbursed me the amount of approx Rs.18000/- on priority basis, as the Handset is my employer assets, If I don't get the same I have to pay this amount to my employer from my own pockets...
you can very well see the recording of security screening where it was seen that the Handset was purely put inside the luggage.
Honest reply is awaited on priority basis.
