Recent vacation at the beach ended up in numerous complaints to management. The following is an example of what I endured... My room was on the 2nd floor which appeared to be "kiddieland". As I was walking to my room pulling the luggage cart behind me, I was hit by a golf ball, jumped over litter on the walkway, and tried to get passed many rude people who just wouldn't move to allow me to pass. My room did not have any view of the ocean, just a very busy street. The walkway was impassable if lawn chairs were positioned in front of the rooms. Once I opened my door, the smell of mold, and dampness was making me sneeze! The bathroom was decorated from the 60's, it was a dark shade of blue. Blue sink, toilet, bathtub, and floor tiles. The tub was simply disgusting with rust, lime buildup, and discolorations. The hotel towels were similar to what we use to wash our cars at home! The sink drain was blocked and water wouldn't even drain until the next day. The mini frig froze everything we put in there. It was difficult falling asleep due to the broken vertical blinds. Each time a car passed, it was quite a "light show"! The neighbors were noisy and ignorant. One evening I counted 9 people staying in a 2 double bed area. In the morning, on our way to the beach, I noticed a disgusting pile of vomit outside of the room next to me. The beach shower was hidden in a dark, underground parking garage, also dirty and very unkept. Each visit or call to the office management, I felt as if I were bothering them with my complaints. Based on what I've written thus far, please take this as a fore warning for any visitor to this motel. Don't waste your hardworking money on this nightmare of a business!
