In August 2008, I purchased a copy of Adobe CS3 Design Standard for MAC from Software Clearance Center's web site ($694.00). I only own a MAC so would have been very careful to only select that type of software. Some how a Windows version shows up on my order receipt and that is what was sent. I tried numerous times to contact them for an even exchange (MAC instead of Windows) and finally they emailed back saying I had to order and pay for a MAC version first (another $694.00) and then they would refund my first purchase. I emailed them a 'no thanks' reply and just wanted to exchange. I have not heard anything back from them since. The address on the web site is in Panama City Beach, FL, the package was mailed from Irwin, CA and the POS (point of sale) phone number (my bank supplied this) is listed in Honolulu, HI and rings to a full voice message box.
I contacted the BBB in Northern Fl and they were able to reach someone who said they only created the web site and refused to give out any info about their client, the software seller.
