Home Lost to ADT

House Destroyed by Fire
My home burned to the ground along with everything I owned. I had a security and fire early warning monitoring system which was supposed to alert you of fire and also report fire to fire department. My home somehow caught fire in the rear of my home while I was home. I was not in an area of home to realize the on coming destruction. The fire system never went off all the way up to the point where the home began to fill up with smoke. ADT employee who was in a management position sent me a letter stating that she apologized that ADT FAILED me and that basically her company ADT had no liability. After that they put Sedgwick insurance on me and after requesting and my sending them 2 times by email and hard copies, they continued to say they did not receive my claim. Eventually they even attacked me personally saying I was negligent and caused the fire. They used any and all ways to discredit me even though fire was investigated by 2 county fire marshalls and a private fire investigator from my insurance company. They eventually just told me go away. Yes insurance paid me for my losses but so many things were lost that could not be replaced. All of my photos, my cat, just imagine 50 years of your lifetime belongings burning. I am still alive but had I been asleep like ADT I would not be. I am still scared to leave my dogs home alone and at night do not sleep well. ADT is a joke and I even discovered from their insurance company that they do not follow NFPA code and he also stated they do not have to follow code. There is also furbish in their contracts you should read that states they have no liability.
