I purchased a treatment from Advanced Medical Institute (AMI) over the phone after a brief consultation with someone purporting to be a doctor. The customer service reps also fail to mention that I had agreed to a verbal contract stating that I will try all products they supply.
After I tried two different medicines I realised that the product did not help me at all and made me extremely sick; including vomiting.
I was immediately told that a refund was not possible as I had agreed to a verbal contract, even after I told them about my health issues from the product and other issues with my personal life that was due to AMI. The rep told me that there was no way I could have my money back and would not forward my concerns to a manager or the claims department
