Fraud
Ladies/Gentlemen, I have just spoken to the "Dispute Department" of my bank in regard to the continous charges that Advanced Wellness Research keeps putting on my credit card. It was my intention to close this account however after talking to the dispute personnel I have decided to hold off. They informed me that they will reimburse my account for the last $83.00 and will be filing a complaint against Advanced Wellness. They also told me that my option to close the account was acceptable however they suggested that I c keep it open because every complaint that they put against AWR affects the credit of AWR. My sugestions for those who have not yet done it is to contact the dispute department of your credit card company and see whether they will offer the same service. This is not a plug but my credit card is owned by Chase Bank.

THEFT
I too responded to an ad online for a product to be sent free where i was only to pay $6.99 s&h. Later I noticed $69.99 was debted oout of my account an saw it was for the FREE product. I contacted someone and told them what happened and was told there was a "fineprint" concerning a response date/time deadline and that i missed it, therefore I was charged full price. So I decided to keep it. Soon after I saw another debt for 54.99 on my accountfrom them. Called again and talked to a "representative" who told me I didn't cancel my subscription and it automatically charged me and sent out another package, which I didn't want, order, or authorize. I told him to cancel all future shipments and the subscription and to refund my money. He told me to send my request in online and it will be taken care of. So I went to there website to respond to my complaint which was bogus, but found the Better Businees Bureau on this page and they graded them with a big fat"F" concerning their business practices. I filed my complaint to the BBB and got a letter from them 3 days later stating they would contact AWRI and submit my request. 2-3 weeks later another letter from the BBB came stating part of what my request was and was refunded the 1st charge of 69.99. By the way, the rep said he couldn't see the second charge in his computer. I checked my account 3 days after and 69.99 was refunded. So I left it at that. A week ago from today another charge of 54.99 comes out of my account from them again! Now I'm pissed off because they lied to me via the last transaction. So now I'm gonna contact The BBB again and let them know what happened as well as my attorney, and see if they can be shut down for fraudulent actions as well as theft. I've already told a rep from AWRI today I was gonna do this and he kept telling me to call him back in 2 days so the system can be updated to see my charges. BS! CALL OR WRITE THE BBB ON THIS COMPANY. THE MORE YOU FLOOD THEM ABOUT THIS COMPANY, THE MORE LIKELY THEY WILL SHUT AWRI DOWN. THEY ALREADY HAVE AN "F" GRADE AS IT IS!

Debit charges
I cancelled subscribtion of product.
They are still charging my debit card.
They need to stop, my bank wants to charge me for doing a stop payment.
I live check to check and this is ridiculous and unsavory on part of this Research group.

Product charged for yet not ordered
I ordered a free trial offer of Pure Acai Berry dietary supplement from Advance Wellness Research Inc. on line. I read the information thoroughly and no where did it state that I had 14 days to try the product and cancel if not satisified. I received the product and again, the enclosed information did not state to cancell within 14 days if not satisfied. Well low and behold here comes another bottle of the product in the mail and my bank account is debited for $83.80. I called the company, and having a very hard time understanding the person on the other end, explained my situation. He kept repeating that I did not read the information as it was clearly stated in their advertisement. I repeated it did not. I wanted to speak with a supervisor but that got me no where also. I was told the best he could do was credit my account for $60 and cancell future products. I wanted the full amount credited, but that was the best he could do. This company is a fraud and is scamming people. I am furious and will spread the word any way I can to tell people not to order from this company regardless of how good their product might be or how fabulous the offer. Something needs to be done about their little scam.

Forced to pay to cancel free trial
I saw an ad online for a free trial of the "Bright Teeth Whitening System" which says that all you need to may for is the shipping and handling. I read through the entire terms of use and contract to make sure that there was no way they could charge me anything above the $4.99 shipping charge if I cancel within 14 days. The first problem that occurred was that they charged me $6.99 instead of $4.99 for shipping...not a huge deal just misleading. I received the product on March 6, 2009. I decided to call the cancel the free trial on March 7, 2009. When I called, they said that I would have to pay close to $100 for returning before exactly 14 days. They also said I would have to return everything I used. Then they offered to let me keep everything I used and cancel as long as I paid a $9.95 fee and then my contract would be cancelled. The contract did not say anything about this fee and I tried to argue but the guy was from another country and it seemed like he was intentionally speaking quickly so that I couldn't understand him. I got frustrated and said said fine but I don't think I need to pay this but I just needed to get off the phone.
I looked the company up online and found countless people complaining about the same issues and saying that they had been charged huge amounts of money and that the company actually operates illegally, claiming that they are in Florida but in fact the company is overseas and is not authorized to do business in the US. They also said that even though they were given cancellation numbers (like I was) they they still keep getting charges. I am upset about the $9.95 and worried that I am going to get charged money in the future. All of the other people complaining said that they were never able to get their money back and I am very worried. It seems like this company should not be in operation and should be investigated thoroughly.

Unjust
Wow!!! What was I thinking when I decided to try something like this? I ordered the free trial just like most here in these postings. I received mine, opened the bottle, closed it and put it away. Yep, still haven't even tried it...and not sure I want to even bother given the treatment I've received from their customer service department. I too tried to call several times and due to technical difficulties, I was told to call back. And now, I'm past the 14 day trial by two days and it's not even my fault. I tried calling them numerous times and I guess phones don't work in Idaho!!!?? or wherever they claim to be?? I too, have now been charged the $78.81 and after my 6th phone call to them today trying to get this straightened out...they are still refusing to issue a return order or refund. This bottle of 60 pills supposedly costs $78.81 plus $4.99 shipping??!! Samuel and Jason(yea right!) claimed that I was the only person that had a problem with their product...go figure. Give me a break---this place needs to be shut down for shady dealings!
