My personal Information being Used
Advanced Wellness Research is a FRAUD!...They are using my name, phone number and email for their compliants because I was able to cancel my bank acct in time before they scammed money out of me. I tried several times to cancel my trial products just like everyone else has that has complained about them. They will not answer phones nor emails!
I want my information to be taken off their website and fraud charges pressed against them
If anyone is reading this is TC Corrales and I am another person taken advantage of by these people, not their compliant board!

Acai Berry
I foolishly ordered a trial of Acai Berry for 4.99. I tried to cancel the product and could not reach a representative. Don't do it. Candel your credit cards now if you did.
What was I thinking.
I have also registered my complaint with my bank.

Unauthorized charges
Back in January of 2009 I tried the 'FREE' trial of these Acai Berry pills for the shipping and handling charge of $4.99. Then why was I charged a random $0.15, which is odd, but it was $.15 so who cares right? Then the $78.81 was charged a couple of weeks later. That is my mistake for not clearly reading the fine print, nice trick I'll bet that is one of the ways those people make money, stealing from innocent trusting people like myself, but then there was another charge of $2.36 which I also don't understand. The rude man on the phone was trying to tell my that those charges aren't even from them, when it clearly shows the same information on my bank statement as all of the other charges on my account. Then just the other day after numerous phone calls, hang ups, emails, and website complaints I got charged $83.80 again!! How is this possible?!!? How i this legal, I've canceled, I've called, I've emailed. What more can I do to get them to stop taking y money!

So I called again, after 3 times being hung up on I got through, explained my situation and got a refund only for the last $83.80(supposedly, I haven't seen it in my account yet.) And the whole time the same rude guy on the phone is trying to tell me to give it to my friends, buy some more for my friend at a discount?!?!!? WHAT? Just exactly how slow does a person have to be?

So, In conclusion Happy Customer and 100% satisfaction, NOT SO MUCH!

Ripping people off
I found after the 14 day trial period that I would not be able to continue using the product (Pure Acai Berry) due to other prescription medications I am required to take.

I called them to cancel the automatic shipment program today. I questioned what to do with subsequent shipments that I may receive. I was told to 'keep them, you will not be charged, consider it a gift if you should receive anymore shipments...' I requested a cancellation confirmation number of which I was told there was none. I hung up the phone. Walked to my mailbox and had received a package from Advanced Wellness.

I checked online regarding returns and contacted the toll free number, again, and was told that product returns were not allowed and that I had to cancel within the trial period and that I would not be refunded the amount charged to my account. I advised that returns are addressed on the website - if returns aren't permitted, then why refer to it on the website?? I requested to speak with a supervisor. I was told, 'All supervisors are in a meeting, I cannot transfer the call.' I offered my home number and requested a call back. I was told that 'that is not possible'. (I was speaking to someone who claimed to be named 'Alex'.)

We need to get the word out that this particular company has some awful business pratices and are walking a fine line. They also claim to charge only $4.99 for the trial portion of this product, but then slam you with a $78.81 set-up/activation fee. Highway robbery if you ask me.

Product not received but charged
I am a South African Citizen and I have ordered Teeth Whitening product from Advanced Wellness Research. I haven't received the product so I have contacted them to hear when I will receive it. Because there was a charge of $23.98 on my credit card. The lady informed me that I need to go to my nearest American Post Office Service to collect the package. I STAY IN SOUTH AFRICA!!! They 've charged $69.99 on my credit card for a product I didnt receive or haven't had the opportunity to try out!
This is the first time I have ordered something from USA, and what a disappointing experience. shame on you!
I have been taught that one must not generalize but be assured that I won't ever visit the USA.

Erroneous billing!!
signed up for their "free trial" of pure acai berry tablets for $4.99, then out of the blue i got hit with a $78.81 charge in my bank account, plus foreign transaction fees! When i called to dispute and cancel, the only offered to stop future shipments. The product was terrible and didnt even work, now im paying $78 too much for it! Their customer service was difficult to understand and unwilling to assist me. They just kept saying the $78.81 was noted on the website, we are not refunding you. TERRIBLE!! Buyer Beware!

Unauthorized billing
Product sounds good and you only pay for shipping for a trial but before the trial arrives another is on the way and they keep charging to your card. You can always tell a scam when it's so difficult to turn off your subscription. You can't do it on the internet it's only by phone. When you call you have to sit through at least 5 minutes of VERY BAD elevator music that is more than loud enough. When you do get so talk to someone you're not sure if they can understand you because their accent will more than tell you if they're in this country, they haven't been here very long. Pretty hard to understand their broken english. My wife got hit by this scheme a couple of weeks ago and noticed it when the second shipment came and was charged to her debit card. She sent all the product back, reported it to our bank and tried to get her money back. It's been over a month and still hasn't gotten it back. She never told me about this till I has also purchased the product. I immediately canceled my debit card and called the 866 number and canceled the order on Monday morning (I had purchased it Saturday night). They of course didn't stop the order as they had told me and I was charged the shipping charge and did receive the trial offer. Hopefully by canceling my debit card I will receive no more shipments and charges.

Charges on account after cancelling "free trial"
Don't order from this company. They are perpetrating consumer fraud. My experience is the same. Ordered "free sample." Called to make sure no further charges. Called again to make certain and received a "cancellation verification number." Several days later, $78.81 was taken out of my account. Called to complain, received another absurd excuse. An email to the company resulted in "after an exhaustive search of our records" we can't find any record of your order ... blah, blah.
Everyone should file a complaint with the consumer fraud claim department of your bank card, contact the attorney general's office (consumer fraud division), the FBI (again online consumer fraud), and another other consumer fraud organizations and agencies in your state.
This is the only way to shut them down, possibly get your money refunded, and at least cause them a few more sleepless nights than us! I refuse to be victimized again.
But the first thing you must do is CANCEL YOUR CARD NUMBER. Report this to your bank or the charge card company so that they can issue you a new card number. You have to do this or they WILL continue to charge you. (They charge under different names, etc. so you can't just "block them.") Your bank or charge card company can also investigate and refund your money. Start there and don't believe the RMA, cancellation number receipt; these are all excuses.
