ORDERED THE FREE TRIAL OF THIS PRODUCT FOR ONLY THE S&H CHARGE. SHORTLY THERE AFTER MY ACCOUNT WAS CHARGED $78.81 ON DECEMBER 1ST, WITH NO ADDITIONAL PRODUCT RECEIVED. TRIED ON NUMBER OCCASIONS TO REACH THESE PEOPLE TO CANCEL ANY FURTHER SHIPMENTS. THEIR PHONE NUMBER HAS BEEN CHANGED 3 TIMES. WHEN I CALL THE LATEST NUMBER, MENU TELL YOU TO PRESS NO. 3 AND THEN YOU ARE DISCONNECTED.

WHAT RECOURSE DO I HAVE.

On around 11/14/2008, I went online at the Advanced Wellness Research web site and ordered the trial 14 day Pure Acai Berry product for $14.99. They were to send the product to me by priority mail (within two cays). However, I did not receive the product for approx. 3 weeks. I charged it to my Discover Credit Card. On December 8, 2008 I received my statement from Discover Card, and saw the charge of $12.99 plus another unauthorized charge for $78.81 on November 28, 2008. I have no idea what this charge is for because I did not order anything else from that company. In fact, I am going to return the product that I ordered in the amount of $12.99.
I have attempted to call them at the telephone number on the product I received but have gotten no response.

I wish to add my complaint against this company for fraudent consumer practices. I will contact Discover Card to see what can be done to have the unauthorized charged removed and let them know that I have returned the product they sent me.

I ordered a free trial sample ( my mistake ) and was charged twice for the same product, which I cannot afford. I did not authorize these withdrawals from my account! and have returned their product. I want it STOPPED!

I followed the online directions for the free trial of acai berry 500. I agreed to the s&h charges of 4.99. I was then told that if I wished to continue receiving this product my card would then be charged 78.16 per month. It was the same day that my free trial was orderded that they in turn charged me the 78. 16 twice and are saying that now I owe them a total of $157.00 and some change. What a joke, when I call to get my refund no one answers the customer service #, you are told to leave a message and emails are never returned it is a neverending nightmare. I hope to recoupe my costs. for now I have a headache

Always just a recorded message when trying to reach this company concerning my return of their product within the 14 day trial period. Emails from "customer service" stipulate that a Return Merchandise Authorization must be printed out and included on the return package even though I have already mailed the product back to the location from which it was mailed prior to finding out that they required this Authorization.
Their on-line advertising is obviously a scam designed to trap unwary consumers into additional charges. I will continue to fight this fly-by-night company which is out to defraud people.
