Dishonest
We ordered Acai Berry for a free trial and this company charged our account for the full price when we canceled the automatic delivery. Please do not order from Advanced Wellness Research. It is not honest!!!

I ask for my bank account to stop getting charged for something I didn, t want and was told they didn, t have any record of me. I sent for a free sample of acidi berry and falied to read fine print that said I would be charged 78.81 every month till I canceled this . I have called repeatablely and have not gotten any thing done as yet. So I canceled my bank card. These people are taking people to the clearners and do nothing to stop it.

Unauthorized charges
I, like so many others, stupidly ordered the Acai Berry Supplement for a promotional price of $1.99, with an opportunity to cancel the automatic shipmentwithin 30 days. Of course, I was then charged $78.81 about 12 days later. Boy, do I feel like an idiot and boy am I mad! I think we should start a class action against this sham of a company (after we get our money back)!

Scam
I was taken by this company. They have a website for easy cancel and i called the phone number listed. After a long wait a woman could not find anything with my name or email address, home address, home phone or cell number. I was furious and asked how then is it possible you can charge my visa then? She hung up on me. I sent them an email on this and then called the number and this time a man answered and said sure he would cancel my account immediately and I said how when I have not even given you my name yet? He told me their system was down and this was on february 27th. I had to call capitol one and report this fraud and they are issuing me a new card and advised they would handle the fraud issue and I wished them luck as this company is nothing but a scam.

Fraud and scam
I ordered a trial offer for the Acai Berry pills talked about by Dr. Oz as seen on Oprah Winfrey show. I have tried to cancel this subscription numerous times. This company will not cancel my monthly order originally placed and will not stop charging my credit card. I am at my wits end trying to get this auto mailing/charging stopped. Don't ever order this product from them. I am going to be forced to cancel my 20 year credit card I have had for years because of these people!! This should be fraud and they should be closed down.

Rip off
I wanted to try the free bottle of acai berry. They charged my account $83.80 before I even got the bottle. They sent me another one on 2/11/10. Called the company's 1-8... phone number, no one answered. I tried again & again. Finally a man with a very heavy accent answered. His name was Sammy Wilson. Every time I spoke my voice would echo. I told him I wanted to send the pills back and wanted a refund. Each time I tried to speak, he would say over & over that he had cancelled future orders but could not give me a refund. I asked to speak to a supervisor, he said, "no supervisor only me". he said he was the supervisor at that time.

Scam
What a SCAM. Long story for me and still not over. In summary, I called and cancelled after the 15 days, my fault. I knew I was going to get the second shipment with a bill, that is how they get you right? The bill was $78.81. I called immediately to cancel and fought the charge - they gave me a $40 credit. BUT meanwhile, the India support person did not tell me they had already charged me a second fee of $83.80! I'm getting the same run around as everyone else. I filed a dispute and will also write to BBB, Oprah and Rachel Ray.

Scammed
Got SCAMMED from Advanced Wellness Research aka ‘Teeth Whitening Now’ I ordered a free trial teeth whitening via internet on 3/10/09 received the free trial on 3/14/09. When I called Advanced Wellness on 3/20/09 to cancel I was advised that the ‘new’ order was shipped out already and that I couldn’t cancel until product was received. (Duh the light bulb should have lite!!!) On 4/8/08 I received the product and called Advanced Wellness again to cancel the order, they advised me to send product back which I did that same day. They sent me an e-mail also on 4/8/08 stating the order was canceled. When I received my credit card statement the following charges from Advanced Wellness Research was on the bill: $6.99 (free trial shipping charge);$69.99; and$54.98. When I called the company on 4/20/09 I was given the ‘run-a-round’ first speaking to a ‘Kate Smith’ the floor manager then to ‘Bob Johnson’ the Senior Customer Service Manager, (The Middle Eastern accent was a dead give-a-way) both of which told me there was nothing they could do!!! I was forced to cancel my Macy’s Visa Credit Card so Advanced Wellness Research doesn’t keep charging me each and every month.
