Acai Berry overcharge
This company charged me for a product I did not order and won't refund the full amount. After several phone calls the most they will refund me is $60.00 after being charged $83.80. They do not represent themselves well and it is a complete scam. The first representative I spoke with was extremely rude. I will never recommend this company to anyone! I wish there was something that could be done to make them stop their advertising.

Submit Your Complaint to The BBB, etc.
I just wanted to let you all know that we received a refund yesterday for the charges that were made for tAdvance Wellness Research's teethwhitening product. I complained to the BBB in Florida, The Attorney Generals Office in Florida and the Internet Crime Complaint Center. I am not sure who exactly got our refund, but we did receive it (over $80) so I recommend that you all complain. What this company does is against the law and the more we complain to the authoritiesabout them they will hopefully they put this company out of business.

Charges for product not received
The company charged me $4.99 for their teeth whitening product for shipping. I never received the product and they are giving me the run around that I agreed to the terms of non-refundable shipping. Yes, for a product, not just to give them $4.99. They said the package was delivered, but I actually have a P.O. box and there is no package. They then want to send out a new product I may or may not get again. What a scam. Also, their call center in India is awful, they don't listen and keep quoting the terms and conditions. I have tried to contact the company, but get an e-mail with the same number. Also, I was told their "managers" don't answer the phone.

Unauthorized charge
A sample tooth whitener was offered for $4.99. In addition to that charge on my credit card statement, I was also charged $78.93, for not cancelling the next shipment within 14 days. This is, in my way of thinking, nothing short of thievery.

cancel order
Order date was 5/07/2009 for trial shipment

I have 15 days to cancel further shipments. However I was billed May 21,
2009 in the amount of $78.93 .
I do not want this shipment or any further shipments.
Please cancel and credit my charge for that amount.

FRAUD---TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS!!!
This company is a complete joke. If you have intentions of doing any legitimate business with them or intend to purchase product.

I was charged for several different products from this company that I did not order. I had never even heard of them until the charges showed up on my credit card statment.

When I called them to inquire about the charges they immediately became rude and very evasive. They would not tell me what I was being charged for and it was clear that they were not going to help me in any way. I was transferred several times and received a different story from each person I spoke with on the phone.

I was finally asked for an order id # and then they had me right where they wanted me for their little scam. If you say you don't have an order id # they immediately go to the "call your credit card company" card.

They first said that I must have placed the order or they would not have gotten my credit information. Once the topic of credit card fraud came up they shifted gears and said that it was up to my credit card company to handle any refund.

The supervisors in customer service are EXTREMELY sketchy and will all give you a different story each time you speak with them. I was finally told by a supervisor named JILLIAN to call back once I received the product and a refund would be processed. When I made that call, she told me that we never had that conversation and that because I was claiming fraud it was the responsibility of my "bank" to handle any refund.

THIS COMPANY IS NOT LEGIT IN MY OPINION AND I WOULD URGE YOU TO DO BUSINESS WITH SOMEONE LOCAL IN YOUR AREA. DO A LITTLE RESEARCH ABOUT ADVANCED WELLNESS RESEARCH AND YOU WILL SEE PLENTY OF CASES LIKE MINE AND PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY TRIED TO PLACE ORDERS WHO WERE RIPPED OFF. I am convinced that the person who obtained my cc information works with this company. They know that once you are charged, they get their money.

You better hope your credit card company has a good policy regarding fraud.

Teeth whitening kit
I had read a blog on teeth whitening, it had a sample of the product for 4.99 so I sent for it NO PROBLEM! got the product on 4/12/ 09 .
Then I got my visa bill on 5/12/09 with a charge for $78.93 for it . SCAM!!! I immediately called them and asked what it was for they said I signed up for a service that they send you the product EVERY month and charge you $80.00 for it.
Don't get sucked in, do not buy from these people, I also contacted my credit card co. to file a dipute on the charge, and I will also be contacting the Attorney General, and Better Business Bureau about this Co.

Fraud
I too was a victim from these guys and I filed a complaint with the Inspector General USPS. Let's see if they will shut them down.

unable to cancel
I should have known NOT to order from a pop-up or testimonial site - but I did. Max White (teeth whitening system) and Acai Berry BIG MISTAKE!! Initially they hook you on a "free trial" for shipping only. Once you receive free trial you are then billed repeatedly for items EVEN IF YOU CANCEL! First of all you call their customer service number listed on your card statement - Foreign representatives try to convey rules and regulations in extremely poor English which is upsetting to say the least. I have been charged an additonal $30.00 for some sort of "CLUB" that is a credit monitoring service from all I can figure out. That scares the life out of me - if they are monitoring MY CREDIT!! Is there any other way to help warn other folks out there that are thinking about using their merchandise?? I am trying to send an email to the "customer service" department - my computer keeps freezing up with the email address they've given me. My computer doesn't typically freeze up when sending emails. What a joke!
