FRAUD ALERT !!!!!!!
Ordered teeth whitening kit. Called and cancelled after I received second shipment. Like some other complaints mentioned, in that call they kept saying they couldn't hear me and to speak up. I was practically screaming in the phone so that they would hear me. Requested they cancel my membership. The next month I received another shipment and they charged my credit card. I called them and they said that the person I spoke to last month did not cancel the monthly shipment, however, he had record that I had called. After going back and forth with him about this unauthorized shipment and charge, he finally said he would credit me the charge and I won't receive any more shipments. He also said he would send me a confirming email. I haven't received an email nor have they refunded the charges to my credit card. I have contacted my credit card and asked them not to accept anymore charges from them as they are not authorized. What a scam this company is. There really needs to be a class action lawsuit against them.

Acai Berry Pro Capsules
I went online and ordered the "free trial" of the Acai Berry from Advanced Wellness Research, Inc. and was to be charged 4.99 which they did. Now I find that they have taken $78.81 from my bank account WITHOUT my permission. After calling the company, they refunded my 78.81 but not the 4.99 shipping. They said they would take my name off their list and send no more of the unauthorized produce. Today I received another shipment and charged 83.80. I again contacted the company and was promised the same as last time. I am hereby issuing a FRAUD WARNING and suggest that if anyone has a similar problem that they contact their financial institution and get them to go after Advanced Wellness Research. They must be stopped!!!

Refused to Refund
Even before my trial period for the colon cleanser and acai berry supplements was over this company sent out another shipment of each product. The company charged my credit account for the shipments. I called to ask about returning the unopened products and was told that all I could do was cancel future shipments. They told me that they don't accept returns and don't give refunds. Even if this is not illegal, it is unethical. BEWARE OF THIS AND ANY COMPANY THAT HAS SUCH UNETHICAL PRACTICES!!!

my refund
what I thought I was signing up for was a teeth whitening kit just for shipping chgs cost me 78.93 that they charged on my debit card. I was not aware i had to call in 14 days which by the way I was only one day late and they would only refund 20.00. I feel they took advantage of a senior citizen and everybody else who falls for this scam.

unordered product
In February I ordered what I thought was a sample of their product Acai Berry for a shipping fee of $4.99. What they didn't tell the consumer was that you would be charged for the product in the amount of $78.00 for what was advertised as a sample of Acai Berry. Not knowing I only had 10 days to decide if I wanted to keep this free samle I was charged that amount on my credit card. I immediately called and to pacify me they credited me for$30 and I was told my account was cancelled. However I received another bottle of Acai Berry and I vehemently called and said I did not want their product. I did not receive any more credit. I'm stuck with their product and their deceptive practices. What can be done abou this?

Unauthorized charges
I bought the trial which said, clean your teeth for only $6.95. Now they say I signed up and have charged me $85.92 and $81.30. I called and they are in India and will not refund my money. I have not received the products. My credit card was a pre paid card, I will file a dispute, but not optimistic about a refund.

Teeth whitening
Advanced Wellness research (Teeth Whitening) is a SCAM. I ordered and have been charged 69.99 for something I didn't click on to order. After I read the agreement on how they were going to charge I clicked off the screen. But I guess they already had my information and I received a box in the mail. NOTHING in the box stated I had 30 days to cancel, so it sat and then I received another box in the mail. When I opened my credit card statement I had been charged $54.98. I immediately called to cancel and they did credit my account. But then I received another credit statement and saw they charged my the 69.99 for the 1st box. THIS IS A SCAM. DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THE COMPANY. I offerd to return the unopened boxes and they don't want them, JUST YOUR MONEY.
PLEASE DON'T ORDER FROM THEM. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, JUST WELL PROGRAMED AGENTS WITH SCRIPTS ON WHAT AND HOW TO ANSWER YOU.

internet scam
Got SCAMMED from Advanced Wellness Research aka ‘Teeth Whitening Now’ I ordered a free trial teeth whitening via internet on 3/10/09 received the free trial on 3/14/09. When I called Advanced Wellness on 3/20/09 to cancel I was advised that the ‘new’ order was shipped out already and that I couldn’t cancel until product was received. (Duh the light bulb should have lite!!!) On 4/8/08 I received the product and called Advanced Wellness again to cancel the order, they advised me to send product back which I did that same day. They sent me an e-mail also on 4/8/08 stating the order was canceled. When I received my credit card statement the following charges from Advanced Wellness Research was on the bill: $6.99 (free trial shipping charge);$69.99; and$54.98. When I called the company on 4/20/09 I was given the ‘run-a-round’ first speaking to a ‘Kate Smith’ the floor manager then to ‘Bob Johnson’ the Senior Customer Service Manager, (The Middle Eastern accent was a dead give-a-way) both of which told me there was nothing they could do!!! I was forced to cancel my Macy’s Visa Credit Card so Advanced Wellness Research doesn’t keep charging me each and every month.

do not stop billing
By my own mistake, I did not read the small gray print area. Free product was shipping only-$4.99. Next charge, because I did not cancel was $78.81. I called cancelled and asked for refund. Next charge-$83.80. I called to cancel and demanded refund. Told to go online to submit my credit card statements to verify that I was charged. Online I said to cancel and wanted refund. Emailed me back and said to call to cancel. I have called and cancelled, this time being told I never had cancelled. This is theft and fraud, as far as I am concerned. I have never used their product, but have now been charged for three deliveries and have only received two, both of which remain unopened. I have an email from this company listed an address in Florida, another address in Idaho, and still another in Illinois.
