After several attempts requesting a credit card refund for products that were returned, I was denied a refund. I sure wish I would have read about this scam earlier.

The ads for a "free trail" of Acai Berry from Advanced Wellness Research/GNS are a scam. Read the confusing fine print very carefully! The free trail is not a free trial for the item, it is a "free trial period" after which you are expected to return the product (which makes no sense) or you will be charged an exhorbitant amount. When you try to cancel, good luck! You will be looped into an endless call queue and they will try to get you off the phone if they ever answer. Be persistent. Tell them you will not get off the phone, do not let them transfer you, do not let them say they cannot look up your info or are too busy. Let them know you expect resolution immediately and be clear you are not authorizing ANY charges. The correct number to call as opposed to what is in their ad is 1-866-964-1011. Best idea is to stay away from this company all together.
