I ordered a "FREE" trial offer of their Acai Berry supplement. All it asked for was $3.99 for shipping and handling. I called the "800#" to cancel when I found out I was pregnant and unable to take the supplement. I was told by the rep that she had it cancelled, but I also needed to call a 2nd number to cancel. The 2nd person said there was no record of me in their system and there shouldn't be any charges. 2 days later I see a charge for $78.81 on my bank statement so I call back. The person I spoke with said it didn't matter if I had the name of the original person I spoke with (when I offered this information) that anyone there could/would give out any name other than their own. He said no way would they refund the money but he would cancel it (supposedly) for future deductions. He was reluctant to give me his name (still don't know if it's real) and said it was 'illegal' to give out his management's name & extension information. I sent a complaint to their website and the response keeps coming back as 'it clearly states there is a 14-day cancellation policy'. I know this was within 14 days that I originally called. They claim that they refunded me $40 but it never showed up on my bank statement. My bank is now disputing the charge, hopefully it will work out. These people are a scam. They are still charging me (even if I get the $40 back someday) $38.81 for the "FREE" trial offer that I did receive.
