I worked for Advantage for two months and in that time I discovered over five violations of state and federal law, mostly dealing with breaks and treatment of employees. When I reported these violations to the company's vice president, I was fired for "insubordination"
Which is also illegal.
Among the violations were not allowing employees access to the files the company keeps, including progress reports (NV law) and refusal to publish a list of employee rights which is required by law to be conspicuously posted at any site where an employee works--on this point, I was informed that the government hadn't sent them one, because it had "just changed"--the list is available as a free printout or can be *bought* as a poster--and it hadn't changed in over a year!
