1. On June 18th, 2009, I was quoted an amount $ 3, 000.00 by my doctor’s office for their services.
2. Upon returning from doctor’s office we browsed/researched online and found MaternityAdvocates.com for possible savings. We called and spoke to Brett Miller for a quote and how they could help us. During the call with Brett Miller we were informed that MaternityAdvocates.com able to work or negotiate with any service provider for a better rate than what we would obtain directly. Believing this, we enrolled with MaternityAdvocates.com and provided our doctor’s contact information. A few weeks later we received an e-mail from Brett Miller regarding a negotiated rate/quote of $ 3, 000.00. We didn’t see any difference in the amount by comparing this quote against our doctor’s.
3. We called and complained to Brett Miller about this issue. About a week later another representative (don’t recall/remember the name) called me to offer different doctors instead of negotiating a better rate with my present doctor. Not sure, why did Brett Miller mentioned/promised that MaternityAdvocates.com able to work or negotiate with any service provider for a better rate. We definitely would not have enrolled in the first place if we were informed earlier that we may have to change our current doctor.
It is very clear that there is no saving for us from MaternityAdvocates.com as mentioned during the enrollment process.
